Wow the last teaser!! it convinced me, Ji Soo CAN act! It gave me shivers… before this teaser I thought Ji Soo’s character will be none-complex, she would just be the typical happy-go-lucky cheerful naive k-drama heroine with not much depth… but guess I was Wrong 😅 I can now totally see Ji Soo stealing the whole show, or at least shine as much as Jung Hae In!! Now I’m even MORE excited for Snowdrop , prior to this latest teaser I was a little worried about Ji Soo’s acting, but now all my worries vanished.
I guess many people who were critizing Ji Soo’s acting / were worried about her acting are also impressed by her now after watching the latest teaser ~
I really want to watch some great historical ROMANCE , so should I watch this? What I want is a heart fluttering love story that give me all the feels with amazing chemistry between the OTP, a OTP I care/ root for. So would you recommend this? Or should I instead watch some other historical romance drama? Feel like binge watching tmr Friday evening with some wine or beer Also, is the possibility big I will get second lead syndrome in this? I really don't want to get SLS😅 I really wanna root for the ML!

Lot’s of critism for Ji soo’s acting .. such as her looking more ”retarded” than cute in the latest teaser, and her being even worse than Suzy, and that Jung Hae In will have it hard because he will be the one carrying the whole drama on his shoulders etc .. wow so harsh , how can some already bash Ji Soo’s acting when the drama hasn’t even aired yet …and no I’m not a Ji Soo/blackpink fan so I’m not biased .. I don’t think the makers would cast Ji Soo if they didn’t think she would do good. Maybe Ji Soo’s character doesn’t require much / won’t be very complex of character, so therefore it won’t be too difficult for Ji Soo to do justice to her role , while Jung Hae In already proved being an great actor so he will play a lot more couplex character . I think his character will definitely outshine Ji Soo’s character (I think he will be the star of the show) nevertheless I think (I hope at least) Ji Soo’s character will be likeable and one you care/root for. I have high hopens for this drama so please drama be good …
This drama dropped to 1 % range when it comes to viwership .. how come in Korea This kind of plot is so taboo while in Japan it isn’t ? ”Chugakusei Nikki” a popular teacher - student romance drama that was realesed just a few years ago , popular drama nevertheless
It must have been difficult being a Woman during Joseon era , much more difficult than its previous dynasties such as Goryeo, etc .. as the previous dynasties at least gave women some rights / status. . For Joseon era .. no rights/status at all for women.. they were even encouraged to kill themselves if their husbands died. Like wtf !? What about their children?? So messed up .. !! Like from Where I am , viking era women had freedom and could even divorce … but then christianity came along and changed everything .. I look up to characters such as Deok Im, strong willed opinioned smart ..,she knows her worth! I can totally see Why Yi San falls for her :)

Yes her face is full of life, not soulless if that makes any sense :) i rather have a ”plain” face full of expressions than a beautiful face that is expressionless. She is pretty for me too. :)
Loving this. But I’m curious why in China, Korea etc all kings / emperors had to have concubines . Why not Queen / Empress enough as long as she gives Birth to a son ? MANY concubines too, not just 3-4 .. maaaany more. Well this question doesn’t Belong here so You can just ignore it ..
Oh I like the FL , some seems to be dissapointed with the actress as she acts ”over the top ” and is not ”pretty” enough and she looks ”old”. Idk I like her, I think its childish to call her ”horse face ” etc , she may not be a classic korean beauty but calling her ugly is going too far… her character has Won me over with her personality and shown she is not dumb or stupid. I like her chemistry with the ML
Love Ji Hyun Woo in ”Queen In Hyun’s Man” one of the best romantic kdramas out there IMO. Is this worth watching ? I like family dramas that are full of love and warmth
