For me, I didn't miss seeing a kiss between Adachi/Kurosawa... because I live that life on my own, so it's not like I need to see it. However...
The reason I feel a kiss on the lips (even a small one) would have made the series even better, is this: having them NOT kiss, and showing a "teaser" like the one in the elevator at the end (not to mention having them wearing t-shirts in bed, after they obviously just had sex) made it so painfully obvious that "oh... these are actors, this isn't real."
Of course we all know that they are actors. But Adachi/Kurosawa had such a natural, beautiful connection... it's why we all fell in love with them. Showing a kiss -- even a small one -- would have made it even more believable, at least from where I sit. And what damage would that have done? None.
Unfortunately, I came away feeling more aware that we're still living in a homophobic culture, and kind of sad.
Well, we made it... and so did Adachi and Kurosawa! I'll admit, I teared up a few times during the episode. Kudos to Ms. Fujisaki! For those regretting no shown kiss between the two leads (especially when Tsuge/Minato got one), at least we got close, and I personally didn't think it was that necessary to see. Cherry Magic is 10 out of 10 for me!
So it went from 5 episodes, to 8 episodes, and now to 6. Projected Episode 6 date is December 26.
I'm actually happy they are ending it... it has dragged on a long time without much happening in the story. I'll watch to see how it ends but I honestly don't care all that much anymore.
They are very cute together. The melodramatic scenes in the middle were just... unnecessary and dumb, in my opinion. Ended on a sweet note. I'm giving it a 7.0.
Oh come on... does anyone really doubt that we'll get a happy ending in Ep. 12? Of course we will. It hasn't been a fluffy, fantasy series for nothing.
I might be one of them... this series isn't THAT important to me.

Still, I loved Cherry Magic and gave it a 10/10.
