From what I gather, the wedding happened near the end probably 35th/36th episode? And Xing Fei said its happy ending for her character so it wont be the last we seen her. But Allen Ren did have trouble getting out of the character during that scene. The BTS is pretty awesome where he is so affected with it.

He knew that Shi Xing didnt kill him because of that. He just said that to comfort the people before their journey that he will be okay so they dont have to worry. The whole conversation before with ALan is how he is no match for Shi Xing. Thats is why when they ask him not to fight Shi Xing with physical strength, he agrees as well. He also admitted how weak he is, like he cant even defeat Shi Xing lol, more or less fighting Hei Long.

The bad CGI is only the first 2 episodes but the CGI after that is pretty amazing. But even with the bad CGI, the story is good and engaging since it has good story and directing. I'm really stuck in with the story and I thought its very interesting and unique. It is a very popular and beloved IP in China so people coming here actually appreciating the story with its pacing and fast storytelling.

lol sometimes when I read MDL comments, I always thought whether we are watching the same drama. 😅 He never throwing away old things for new shiny things. He never did. He always communicate with her about his intention to stay there and get stronger. And he even told her its okay if they were using him. Everytime that he got hurt, he will assure her that he is okay and not to worry. They are still the same team. It just that, some circumstances has changed.

And please have faith in our girl. She wont turn bad just because of that. Her heart is not that small and its always been big and part of the reason why Wu Geng falls for her; her understanding, strength and also brain. She is possessed by evil spirit and not turning evil because she wants to. Its 2 different things.

Just ignore this kind of comments since they obviously come just to incite hate. Anyone who actually follow Allen Ren's works know that he is one of the few c-actors that always take different kind of roles each time. Be it cold, aloof, bubbly, charismatic, socially awkward, shy, talkative, casual, naive, innocent, he done it all. To call him formulaic and same is the obvious sign they never actually check his works but just come here to give bad reviews.

I have no idea who possessed her but I got the spoiler when I was watching the team (Allen Ren, Xing Fei, Bambi, Zheng Ting & Merxat) promoting the drama last year where they are answering fans questions and playing games.

They used the word 'possessed' so that why I knew she didnt turn evil but just being possessed by bad entity.

I LOVE LOVE TBW. Everytime I want to watch something ansgty but good, I rewatch that drama. I need my dose of adorable and angsty Changyi regularly lol.

The CGI now is pretty great. I dont have problem with it anymore. Only the first 2 episodes during the fighting scenes only that I thought its was bad. Now I see why this is an S+ productions. The magical beast looks so beautiful.

At first, I thought its his auntie, the Immortal High Priestess. But then the Old Man said he has no idea but A Gou knew her so I was 100% sure it was Bai Chai when she was possessed by the evil spirit.

That scene in TBW is my favorite! I cant wait for another scene like that lol. Bring on the angst!!! 🤣
