I've never paid attention, but are actors usually accurate with this kind of body language? If they are then kudos to them. One thinks they would look to the left if they're reciting lines. And perhaps look to the right when ad-libbing.
why do people say this show doesn't have romantic scenes? I find them to be highly romantic even without skinship
I agree. It's just not in-your-face romantic, it's a romance that they are trying to hide from observers and even from each other. That the feelings lie underneath and motivate the characters even without outward expression, makes the story more compelling, in my opinion. And the fact that they can actually portray that is a testament to their skills.
I mean, just in the latest episode, we get:- Suho spelling out that the ANSP frames their own innocent citizens…
I don't think those who participate in cancel culture actually hate any one person in particular. They want notoriety and the feeling of power that they get from being able to destroy other people's lives. Mainly they're just miserable people so they want others to be miserable. It's the modern form of bullying.
Guys since it's hard to wait, let's have some fun. Say something about the drama which is false. P.S. don't touch…
The dorm has ondol floors so it's not uncomfortable at all sleeping on the floor in cold weather. (I don't know if the floors are heated or not but I doubt it.)
Is cheong ya lying about the order that she was asked to send them back safely? When was the order given to her?
I don't know if she's lying, but realistically (assuming anything in this drama is realistic), she knows there is no chance for their survival. Sooho and his team failed their mission, and that means death in NK. Not only that, but they got involved in a hostage situation and had their cover blown. They are useless to their masters now. If they make it home alive, they won't stay alive very long. Sooho should know that better than anybody.
Jtbc just released behind the scenes of yesterday's ep.They are having so much fun filming. I always love watching…
It's nice watching them act these intense scenes and then start joking and laughing when the director yells "cut". It helps me remember not to take the drama so seriously. :)
Jtbc should stop making 1.30 hr episode..Instead the can extend the no. of episodes..Kdrama watchers mindset are…
People can always pause an episode in the middle and come back to it later if they're getting tired. You're not mandated to watch it all the way through in one sitting.
I keep wondering why they translate "palgang issekiya!" as "stupid Communist", when the literal translation "Red bastard" works just fine and is an actual historical epithet.
Somewhere in the timeline of this drama, NK agents bombed Korean Air 858 (Nov. 29, 1987). Though of course NK denied it and claimed SK orchestrated it to put the blame on NK for political reasons. Are the events in this story happening before or after the bombing? And are they going to incorporate it somehow?
I was thinking. Why 13?It's only significant to me for two reasons. Either it's a bad luck number.Or it represents…
No but they did go to a fortuneteller or witch doctor or whatever you want to call him, who suggested human sacrifice=black magic. 13 is a significant number in witchcraft.
So first off...ignoring the history/political side of it because I'm watching for the romance/drama mainly and…
Something about the set, the design or the music gives me Harry Potter vibes. Light and fun and yet spooky and ominous at the same time. I think this show has the potential to turn very dark very fast.
As far as Jisoo's acting it's clear she's inexperienced but it seems to fit the clumsy, innocent and naïve character she is playing, in contrast with an experienced actor who is playing a complicated character with many secrets. Perhaps that is why they chose a newbie for the role.
I can't stand Kim Sang Joong's voice. Maybe because his most popular roles are twisted, half-crazed characters obsessed with revenge. He gives me the creeps. I sure hope he's different in real life.
