I've watched up to ep 8 and not much has happened, yet. From what I've seen so far it's a bit boring and I am not feeling Dylan Wang at all. He seems really stiff and his facial expression is the same whether he's sad, happy, excited, angry, etc. Also, not liking the makeup on him and the harsh eyebrows. He just doesn't look good in Costume Drama. I LOVED him in Meteor Garden! He was such a natural but unfortunately his acting is not translating well in this drama. He seems awkward. Since it's 36 episodes I will probably stick it out.

It doesn't look like it's a BL drama. Trailer appears to show boy/girl romance ??‍♀️

I am watching Love by Hypnotic just to see him as the leading man. He's handsome and can act but he seems to only get secondary roles. I feel bad for him in The Long Ballad, Unique Lady, and Jiu Jiu Overlord. In Happy Camp (2021 with The Long Ballad cast) he seems shy and almost introverted.

She seems to be given a lot of sad, secondary roles. I didn't like her in Romance of Tiger and Rose either (her character...not her acting ability).

No one knows for sure but we're all hoping ?? because it wouldn't be the same without him.

My guess for the delay in filming is they haven't been able to secure some stars (like Xiao Zhan because of his busy schedule).
