I can't believe I've just binged through the first 12 episodes and can't wait for more. I dropped Heroes. Couldn't get into the storyline. Gave this Fox Volant a try and it is far superior to Heroes. I think it's safe to say it will be the best wuxia of 2022. I recommend all wuxia fans give this a drama a try.

Someone got lazy and used auto translate. Some lines don't make sense but most of it does. You can still understand what is being conveyed. I know it's annoying.

They went through so much and it would have been so satisfying for the audience to witness their wedding, having kids and traveling the world like they had promised to do in their future life together. Alas, books are always better than film adaptations.

Right, this is my complaint, too. Last scene was ridiculously rushed. Like...here I am! THE END! The only drama that had a satisfying ending was Ashes of Love where they got married, had a kid and we also got to see them living a happy life.

Wow, wow, wow. I thoroughly enjoyed this drama so much eventhough I didn't think I would. Beautiful costumes, cinematography, and CGI. Good chemistry between main leads and a cute love story. Last scene was too rushed for my liking but it is a happy ending 👏👏👏

I didn't think I was going to like this drama because of the main leads. Not too fond of either actor's acting skills. Just wanted to check out the first episode to get the feel of the drama and am surprisingly hooked in. lol. Just finished ep 8.

It was a quick scene (because of red tapes in chinese film industry) so it's easy to have missed it. Also, the big reveal was their trip to the music festival when Ming came on stage to DJ. They looked at Ming and he said "now you know my secret" (they tried to obscure Ming's body but you can tell it's a male body).

We're at the half way point and Shaoshang is finally realizing her feelings for Ling Buyi 🥰

He plays interesting characters. If you haven't seen Rebel Princess, I think you will enjoy watching him there.
