I didn't think I was going to like this drama because of the main leads. Not too fond of either actor's acting skills. Just wanted to check out the first episode to get the feel of the drama and am surprisingly hooked in. lol. Just finished ep 8.
It was a quick scene (because of red tapes in chinese film industry) so it's easy to have missed it. Also, the big reveal was their trip to the music festival when Ming came on stage to DJ. They looked at Ming and he said "now you know my secret" (they tried to obscure Ming's body but you can tell it's a male body).
I’ve watched this for the n-th time…. it surprisingly is still perfect… didn’t think it was like a 10…
Currently re-watching this for the 3rd time while waiting for more episodes of Love Like The Galaxy to air. I 100% agree with your take on the Emperor! He is the only Emperor in Cdrama that gives me the chills. The most intimidating and the scariest Emperor ever. His acting is superb.
Romance in this drama is so slow. Leads screentime together is almost non existent. Lucky to get 5 mins in each…
They will have their time together in Part 2. Part 1 is them meeting and learning about each other so it's natural for their relationship to be "slow". Also etiquette of that time, young unmarried noble ladies rarely go out unaccompanied much less be in the accompaniment of suitor(s).
Is tencent really gonna be stubborn and not add more episodes to air? 4 days of waiting feels like a year already.…
I hate the waiting, too. I also heard that Part 2 won't come out until towards the end of this year. Don't know if this info is reliable but it would suck if it's true. I hope they're not really going to wait that long!
Actually, they did show that Ming is male. The scene where he took Chen Chen to a club for her birthday. She tried to kiss him and he freaked out a bit. They had a fight. She left the club. He texted Ming and you can see Ming's profile picture...male.
Watching Fall In Love, and I have one question. Has he always been this fine? I saw Be My Cat, Falling Into Your…
Just finished watching him in Believe in Love and I was thinking "he is such a good looking villain! he needs to be a ML". lol. Had no idea he's also in these dramas you've mentioned. Need to check them out.
Viki has 3 trailers. When I watched the 1st one I thought it was going to be some sort of slapstick type of drama and was disappointed. Then trailer 2 & 3 look heavy and serious. I think the first 10 eps will be slow showing Shaoshang's dysfunctional family dynamics. Maybe the real action will start after she leaves home? Stick with it. I think it will get better.
It's not a waste ... depending on taste. If you like war and politics, this drama will have some but may not be…
I was going to say there are some Ming Lan vibes. Didn't know they are same authors. Ming Lan's grandmother was a badass granny. Loved her. Shaoshang's grandmother, however, is a sorry POS. Can't wait to see how this family dynamics plays out.
Agreed!!! I started this drama a few days ago. Watched up to ep 4 and now putting it on hold because I CAN NOT…
Thanks for replying. I was wondering if her character would mature as the show goes on. Tbh, I was annoyed from the get-go when she made it a mission of hers to make him fall in love with her w/the intention of dropping him after he falls for her. Her self-absorbing attitude that all men should grovel at her feet was a turn off.
OMG the cringe is real. I love the ML (Ding Yu Xi), but the second-hand embarrassment from the FL's antics and…
Agreed!!! I started this drama a few days ago. Watched up to ep 4 and now putting it on hold because I CAN NOT stand FL's antics and mannerisms as you mentioned. Not sure if I'll finish it. Love Ryan Ding. Too bad I can't stand FL.
