I don't care how cliched the plot's coming off so far or how silly the writing gets, I'm loving this drama. The actors are doing well and I'm eating up the Kim/Copter interactions like ice cream. Excited for ep 5. Looks like we're about to move on from only the fluffier side to more serious things.

Tbh I think ITSAY has ironically doomed every other Thai BL that has come out after it this year. I say that because ITSAY was so good and set the bar higher and it seems like fans aren't willing to put up with the same weak plots and troupes anymore. It feels like everything since ITSAY is getting compared to ITSAY which means everything is looking pretty bad. lol That's not my personal opinion, but it's what I've noticed.

It might be too early to call it for MoD though. Only two episodes so far, but I'm also loving it.

BL, suspense, horror, and contemplation about human mortality. Loved it. Good acting, good music, good cinematography.

Oh, I thought the people who knew seemed to be either professionals like Tul’s character or the students who did seem at least somewhat uncomfortable that their classmate had died. And about the the teacher, I thought she regretted because she thought the girl had died from overdose, not the rape. I may have remembered that wrong though

I agree with you about the ex-gf villain trope, but I gotta say, Pleng was a damn good villain. lol But then on the other hand, Faii, Yiwa, hell, even Prae. All the female characters, even though they just had support roles were all well-fleshed out and I appreciated that.

I think Knock's crippling indecision is summed up in the fact that he keeps up the thread in the forum. His problem are his own to figure out and they shouldn't involve hurting two other people, but I really believed his love for Korn. It really gave me the feels the way Knock would look at Korn in some scenes.

The teacher/student thing bothered me, but then at one point Phu says, "I'm just a 23 man talking to a 27 year old woman" that like *kinda* eased it up for me...a little. BUT that got me to thinking: why do we get exact age numbers from them, but we're left in the dark as to the age gap between Bright and Farm? Also, why don't we have any idea how old Bright is at all? I ask because at one point, he says, he's known Knock "since we were little"...we?!...according to MDL, he was FOURTY-two when this series was filmed. Knock, presumably is around 23 like Phu. So, were they trying to pass this man off as like a 30 year old or are they just really bad at math? THAT irked me so bad. I won't even get started about how manipulative he was.....I won't bother you with another paragraph about that. lol Suffice it say, I agree.

Well, based on the first ep, the most important woman in this show is now dead, so I don't think we'll be seeing much more violent misogyny from here on out...hopefully, anyway. Things pick up in ep 2 though. More action and suspense. I actually jumped at one point. lol

I agree with you about Bright being a (at least somewhat) competent actor as I've seen him as a lead in another series and he was much better than he is here. The problem is that he didn't act well in *this* series. He was stoic almost to the point of inertia. That coupled with the very lackluster chemistry between him and Win really let a lot of people down. I personally don't think 2gether is a train wreck, but it's a "I was rooting for you. We were ALL rooting for you." type of disappointment. We were all so ready, but then....yeah. Congrats on them winning the award though! haha

I pretty much loved it tbh. Yeah, the plot was basic, but I think everyone sold their characters really well. I'm addicted to Max and Tul now though. I think they're my favorite couple now. Manner of Death is good so far!

Hate that I waited to so long to watch this. I loved it. I agree with a lot of the comments that the plot was cliché, but the overwhelming majority of BL plots are cliché, so that didn’t take anything away from this series for me.

It’s really funny to think that this was made in 2017, though. You’d think we’d have gotten exponentially better series after three years (from Thailand), but...here we are with worse acting, production quality, and plots. lol And before anyone says it: yes, ITSAY is the outstanding exception.

I don't really take this series that seriously, but your comment interested me. If I were to take it back a few steps and look at it, I'm here for all of this except Chon being sweet, pure or deserving of the title of 'hero'. I find him cute at best, annoying and self-serving at the worst. He's a young, openly gay man of decent means and moderate ambition, has grown up with the enormous benefit of having a loving and supporting best friend AND family, but is choosing to put himself in a stupid position for a guy he hasn't spoken to regularly since they were preteens. Please. If Chon were struggling with his own sexuality, was in the closet, or clearly suffering from another huge stressor in his life, I'd feel for him, but as far as I can see (as of episode 3, don't come for me in hindsight), he's a gay man actively pursuing a self-identifying 'straight' man in spite of said man's expressed disinterest in romantic relationships with men and homosexuality. Why? Because that's exactly what he wants to do...

Like I said, I don't take it this seriously. I'm just enjoying the ride, but when I take a serious look at it, it's really hard for me to feel for Chon.
