Looked like tickle torture to me. One of my biggest pet peeves.

Title The Effect
James is one of the most sweet, innocent-looking actors I've ever seen in this industry. So, to see him get put through this storyline is gut-wrenching. :( Nevertheless, I feel like The Effect is a Black Mirror version of BL and that's really important because we see sexual assault and rape either glamourized or brushed over so much. This was a wake-up call.

I also thought a lot of the camera shots were really good and among the support roles the actor who played Man was especially good.

3 things:1. Phenomenal performance by the two leads. And the story was just right - everything on point. My heart…
In response to point 3, Shin is also visibly uncomfortable when Keng throws his arm around him in bed. He moves it off...twice, then is unable to sleep for the rest of the night. In retrospect, that foreshadowing stabs me through the f*cking heart. lol

Title The Effect Spoiler
This series has good idea story, about forcing on sexual something unfamiliar with BL series since most BL series…
I like to imagine the ending like this: they see each other from across the street, but only Shin sees the car coming. He steps toward the road with the intention shouting to Keng that the car is coming and he should stop walking, but he's just in shock that he's actually seeing Keng after five years. Then BOOM! The rapist gets hit. The end. lol

Totally disagree that Shin loved him though. In the bed scene, when Keng puts his arm around Shin, Shin takes it off and then rubs his own shoulders. This scene showed me: Shin isn't ready for intimacy, he didn't like the notion of Keng putting his hands on him so much (see also: the head pats that Shin didn't like), and maybe it was a bad idea for him to invite someone into his bed. Also, the next morning, he says he couldn't sleep the night before which kinda shows me he's very uneasy with being physically close to Keng.

You're right. I suppose he's meant to be around between 17-19, so I'll give him that.

I don't care how cliched the plot's coming off so far or how silly the writing gets, I'm loving this drama. The actors are doing well and I'm eating up the Kim/Copter interactions like ice cream. Excited for ep 5. Looks like we're about to move on from only the fluffier side to more serious things.

ITSAY and MoD saved Thai BLs from the catastrophe in 2020.
True. That after-shower scene when Tul gets dressed though.....a little bit of fanservice that was very much appreciated. lol

ITSAY and MoD saved Thai BLs from the catastrophe in 2020.
Tbh I think ITSAY has ironically doomed every other Thai BL that has come out after it this year. I say that because ITSAY was so good and set the bar higher and it seems like fans aren't willing to put up with the same weak plots and troupes anymore. It feels like everything since ITSAY is getting compared to ITSAY which means everything is looking pretty bad. lol That's not my personal opinion, but it's what I've noticed.

It might be too early to call it for MoD though. Only two episodes so far, but I'm also loving it.

Well, based on the first ep, the most important woman in this show is now dead, so I don't think we'll be seeing…
Oh, I thought the people who knew seemed to be either professionals like Tul’s character or the students who did seem at least somewhat uncomfortable that their classmate had died. And about the the teacher, I thought she regretted because she thought the girl had died from overdose, not the rape. I may have remembered that wrong though

Who shrugs off her death and blames her? I think I missed something.
