i don't know what they said in their last scene with dialogue together but it would've been nice if it had just been them instead of adding in li jing and hao du. or maybe just another separate convo btwn them after that just to really solidify that 'hey this is all over now. shall we go home?' or something of that sorts.

well li jing told LSM that CG wanted to tell him that she died in the fire and she doesn't want to go back to Chang'An and left with Sun (at least i think that was the gist of it) so unless it was explicity stated that for whatever reason they arenn't together, they are together. why wouldn't they be if they are both alive and shes not staying behind to be a princess in Chang'an.

right.. their top lips barely had the slightest contact while the bottom was miles apart lol

how do you consider the fl and ml as 0 kisses, yet hd and ly is considered actions? lol the way they edited hd and ly's 'kiss' was even worse than the birds kiss lol

they do kiss (actually more like makeout cus it goes on for quite a bit) but what is actually shown is blurred and far away and there's also a pair of now infamous birds as added symbolism lol so yea, as far as their characters go, they are indeed pass that hurdle of intimacy.

not sure if this is what ya mean but did you spend all those hours suffering, laughing, and crying just to get to see kisses?

ahh thanks for clarifying. someone else had said it was khan's kid and i was like... didn't know he had any bio sons. even they didn;t want to be a part of this, damn khatun just did not get it.

and i'm sure she feels guilty since she took the arrow to save her :(

wish they had executed it better though, the way mimi threw herself and pushed CG.. it really seemed like they coulda both just fallen to the ground and neither would've gotten hit..

i figured.. like i said i rather have no kisses at all and a happy ending then all the kisses in the world but a death. you win some, you lose some.

TLB has the feel of a tv drama to me maybe cus the production value seems so high. hope it gets broadcasted one day too so more people can enjoy.

i wish they had actually show some flashback of them when they were good

it's always so hard to watch emperors/leaders guard against good people instead of the real threats to them.. but in the end, they reap what they sow..

one of my ideas since the scene played out was for them to be back in the grasslands one year later watching the fireflies together again. cus when they did the fireflies scene, CG was like i might not be able to see this again, who knows what will happen in a year, etc.. it felt kinda depressing to me like she wasn't expecting to live and not knowing how this ends, i thought it could possibly be foreshadowing that they wouldn't have the chance to do so again so i would've love to see it ending on them being able to be back there again. and plus, it is just very beautiful aesthetics.

didn't even know of his existence before this. and for her, i never watched any of her dramas cus idk just from the little i knew of her she just felt kinda meh to me. so happy to have given this drama a chance, not they are def people/actors i'll keep up to date on re their projects and whatnot

they certainly brought out a lot of emotions in viewers and the best performers achieve that. kudos to them! xD

yea, it's a good thing he doesn't go over to a 'bad' side just bc his love is not reciprocated. that would've been the usual journey for a character like him.. he accepts his fate and his own mistakes/part in where he has landed. and even helps to save Sun in the end knowing the love CG has for him.

yea i know, the khan is she'er uncle. i just wasn't sure if they were talking about his dad being killed by her cus he seemed very shock cus again, my chinese is very limited. oooh i didn't know the present khan has any bio kids. always thought it was weird that he didn't.

kinda sad they didn't have their own 'goodbye' scene of sorts
