yea people said bc of different personalities, etc. CG was more tomboyish and LY is more feminine. Even so, there are varying levels they can be taught. LY doesn't need to be able to swordfight expertly but she should've been exposed to being more 'tough' in circumstances and have the bearing of someone who has grown up and may have seen a lot of shit in the palace instead of being sheltered.

yea, i kinda feel like their trope is in a way more easily digestible? and depends on the demographics.. i feel like they would appeal to a younger crowd and women who can put themselves in LY's mindset easier than CG and kind of vicariously living out that story where as GeSun's story is more up and down and angsty and not so straightforward.

yea i mean CG has been training and learning from when she was real young. A'Sun was apparently fighting wars since age 9. Age doesn't mean you can't be brave or capable especially when you are royalty and could potentially be the heir to the kingdom. I'm surprise LSM's son, now crown prince, seems so useless too. LSM kind of failed his own children in that regard. Leyan is at least kind & pure and through her tough times in the real world was able to finally come into her strength but that was no thanks in part to anything LSM did. If she hadn't been kidnap, LY would still be weak and wouldn't have been able to handle all the stuff that has happened in recent eps.

i hope so too.. if they create/have a strong foundation than hopefully even with any outside influence, they should be able to overcome them.
