obv most fans werent happy with the birds cus they wanted to see gesun kissing lol but i don't think the director/products/etc anticipated the hate lol i think they just found the birds cute and an apt symbolism since both CG and Sun are represented by birds

as usual, it's up to interpretation.. some people seem to think he was being coy.. he answered xiao bei (his dog) and then says ahh i remembered who i last kissed but doesn't say who but the next immediate thing he says is to give this ques to the next guest "have you watched the long ballad?" some fans see this as his way of saying if you have watched tlb, then you would know who i last kissed lol
