I am surprised by how many cold/rude main male leads are out there. Sometimes I ask myself how many girls can…
Good point. I believe that every trope and cliche can be used but it has to be developed properly, and the reward of feel good moments and good people victories should always be more throughout the story and by the end.
I was reading some comments about the 2025 C-Drama "Fall In You", and more than one person recommend to just watch episodes 1 - 17 and skip until the last episode. A few complains seem to be that after they get married there is not much romance, and only drama and twists, including their faking getting a divorce, but the part that makes me uncomfortable is that supposedly on episode 21 and 22, FL stays with SML in the same house in a weird strategy to get evidence while not only being exposed to an annoying love triangle series of scenes, but an evil character trying to force himself onto FL. I personally don't mind some drama, but that sounds like too much, so please, if you have watched this one, please tell me if this is true and your opinion about those episodes.
FL forced to stay with the villain for a pair of episodes in the same house.. and other shitsthis is quite overused…
I have only seen this in one drama, but it still beyond annoying and I would skip it entirely the second it becomes uncomfortable (which I am pretty sure will happen)
I am sorry but commenting here is healthy for my own sanity while I watch this one. Episode to episode, and even moving from one scene to another, the writers seem to forget what they just wrote, and come up with something that doesn't make sense afterwards. If someone ever read this comment, know that you are not alone... hahahaha
This is another show where people do things for no other reason than to create misunderstandings, friction or…
Too many things happen out of nowhere and for no reason. The best example is what his mother did with the letter, but there are other examples like the guy that is sent to spy on her and suddenly after being found, instead of running away he decides that it would be a better idea to choke her to death... like... really?
I agree with you. It would have been a lot better if the writers chose to go on the fantasy/sci-fi path and use magic or just sci-fi elements to justify FL's condition.
I don't feel ML is hiding his feelings since he is very open about how he feels from the beginning, but the writers just decided that he was cold some times and hot some other times in order to create different scenarios with FL.
Last but not least is about plot and villains. Both are tropey and make no sense, since they lack motivation and proper development, and like the shifts in personality for the main character just for the sake to create angst, the villains do not connect with the viewer. For example, the mother being against this poor girl that she didn't even know made no sense and her actions made less sense.
What an abomination this drama is... writing is trash
This is feel like a chimera made of all of the classic annoying tropes but without proper setup, development or even conclusions. The only thing this show seems to have is cute moments between the main couple, but even the trope of interfering with their relationship is half-cooked and only exists to create unnecessary misunderstandings and to keep the main couple away which is basically more and more dragging...
