In the past life ...FL was in love with ML ...after a great misunderstanding and the breakup with ML....The FL…
I agree ... In the first episode and her first life, he is literally embracing her, she cared for him even before he was castrated since she was pleading the emperor for him and even took a beating... I don't care that she has multiple relationships in the past, but she should be focused on her husband and nobody else in her second life...
3 years with ML17 years with SML.She was in love with SML.you can't change my mind.it was pretty obvious. If he…
Romance dramas are all about the main couple romance, but the first thing is to identify who are ML and FL, and everything about them should be exclusive. The second mistake is to elevate SML to that level where it is undeniable that FL had strong feelings for him on both lives, even if she ends up loving ML more (She shouldn't love SML at all). You know she is biased when she finds him helping a woman that is on the floor and almost dead and decides to separate versus him not being able to complain at all for her literally living and embracing with another man for years! She even took a beating for him ... If things were left all in her first life regarding SML, they could have saved the story, but the moment that they insist in creating these romantic moments with SML even if it is for nostalgia, you are ruining the main romance. Lastly, the ML doesn't help, because he would just remain silent and allow all kinds of misunderstandings and even allow for his wife to live with another guy, and then comes back to life and goes straight to her instead of growing a spine and have some pride... I would have had FL moving in from SML in the first 3 episodes, so he can stay in his role of villain alone, have FL ending up in situations with ML all the time and slowly finding that he was and is the only one...
I hate the nostalgic music that always play whenever there is a scene between the FL & the 2ML as if there's…
I imagine that they wanted to present us with a complex love triangle that would show how much she loves her husband even after all the misunderstandings and how much she cared and maybe even loved him for her own reasons, but I think that this is never the right approach because the love that is sold in Dramaland is that unique truest love that doesn't happen with anybody else, which means that background music and all those belong to the main couple... Or should we believe that she is love with both..? because that doesn't make it any better...
I am only on episode 5, but I can see clearly that those complaining about some things...
FL decides to live separately from ML because apparently he cared for another woman, that was on her deathbed without allowing ML to explain, however, she decides to move a man to her house and lives with this man for years. If that wasn't enough, she seems fixated on the guy in her second life and even after learning that he killed her... This is one of the worst love triangles I've seen in recent history. The only way to enjoy this one with the undeniable and unique chemistry and dynamics of the main couple is skipping SML and FL fixating on him for some stupid reason because she most definitely and obviously is head over hills for ML...
Yeah, that's f*cked up...but as we know, the Cdrama industry also isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Welp, I had…
I agree... which is why I won't skip during the first episodes, but I'll make sure to do so as soon as the main couple relationship seems like is starting to take shape..
I know it has been some time since you wrote this review, but I really appreciate because I HATE love triangles, and especially, those where the FL seems to reciprocate... I am still tempted to watch this one, but I will be ready to skip the annoying SML every time I have a chance, because me like many others, watch these for the romance so I'd prefer more main couple's screentime, character development, plot and even side stories instead of questionable interactions between FL and other men ...
I loved that webtoon so much. I came here for same experience. What a pity
I actually appreciate that the story is different, because that means that as I am watching I don't know what will happen next, and if I want to enjoy the Webtoon all over again, I can always go back and read that again.
Happy endingNo annoying SML No triangle love ( FL &ML strong together)
I also hate love triangles, but it seems like this is going to be one of those shows where the love triangles only show to be completely destroyed by the main couple one way or the other every time.
Happy endingNo annoying SML No triangle love ( FL &ML strong together)
I believe because some people think for some stupid reason that a love triangle only forms when there is reciprocity. However, this one still falls under the love triangle category even by their standards since the FL seems to be somewhat attracted to 2ML as early as episode 2...
I am still watching the first season, and I know that they get officially together in this season. I am watching this for the romance, so I plan to keep skipping and stopping to watch their romantic moments and when they finally get together... I already had to wait forever when I was watching"The Story of Ming Lan". I don't watch (skip) love triangles, and I am not willing to "enjoy" dragging and creating obstacles for the main leads to get together just for the sake of making us wait ...
