Sang Yan the man you are!! oh boy i still didn't finish it but this gives me k-drama vibes. I've never watched…
I have been tempted to skip the friend that likes FL, but thankfully she hasn't shown any interest and so far (by episode 6) he is just a device to create funny scenarios between our main leads.
I read a few comments about this drama "not" having love triangles, but it has multiple love triangles. The difference with other dramas is that this one has an actual plot and character development so the plot doesn't have to rely on a love triangle at the center of the story, but there is at least one girl that likes ML, while multiple guys like FL and another pair of guys like SFL. The biggest love triangle is harmless, and doesn't take too much screentime or have any of the main leads paying special attention to other people, which might be why the love triangles here are not annoying and some even claim that there are no love triangles in this show...
Probably due to all the complainers before complaining about certain dramas being added to the list, ruined it…
I doubt that some criticism is enough to stop this amazing list! Besides every opinion I have seen about shows that belong or not in this list have been with respect. I do hope that the owner of this list is doing fine, and that we will get to know from them soon enough, and that we continue getting updates.
Is there a love triangle, or any 2nd ml/fl interested in ml or fl, and who molested whom? did it actually happen…
Yes, there are two love triangles with the female lead, but fortunately, they don't have any real impact on the story or the main couple's relationship. Lord Li is the first and longest one, since he fell for FL at first sight, but his screentime related to the love triangle is minimal and when he finally acts on his feelings is less than an episode and basically to close the love triangle around the 30 earlier episodes. The second one is very short and only happens because a villain gets fixated on her to get back at ML, but once again, it is inconsequential.
Am I the only one struggling to find and understand who is who...there are many characters, names, titles, its…
That will continue to happen until two things happen for you. The first one is that you watch several of this genre to get used to the whole complicated families and clans in this kind of story, and that you pay special attention when watching because looking away for a minute can throw you off entirely.
I am on episode 10 now, and while I appreciate that this allows FL to show her skills, I think that he has been…
Now that I am done with episode 10, I have a feeling that they somehow will now stretch the whole hidden identity, and knowing how dramas work, this will be a huge issue for the main couple later on...
i am on episode 9 and my man yan zheng is getting his ass whooped non-stop. i know he's hurt; he's weak, but at…
I am on episode 10 now, and while I appreciate that this allows FL to show her skills, I think that he has been "injured" and "recovering" for too long now.
I haven't watched this one, but I have done my research. According to different sources, they get married on episode…
Even when the show still sounds interesting and a good watch, the whole slow burn for 18 episodes to only get together and break up again, in the middle of war and several events (which means that romance will be an after thought), this starts to sound discouraging for those like me that follow this list, and prefer something lighthearted...
Has anyone completed watching "Pursuit of Jade". Are there any breakups, or SML? Can anyone give spoilers…
I haven't watched this one, but I have done my research. According to different sources, they get married on episode 4 in a marriage of convenience to help the girl with something. The couple starts developing their relationship, but conflict happens and they separate on episode 18 while a lot of other stuff related to the plot develop greatly and they get back together on episode 24. Most sources say that they never separate again after episode 24, but Arpar seems to suggest that she finds out about his real identity and stays away from him for one more episode before they get together for good.
In a sense, it is a "no break up" drama, because in reality, they are not "together" by the time they separate in episode 18, because they were pretending while falling slowly for each other, and it is not until they go through one of the hardest periods of their lives with war and danger for their friends and family, that when they are finally reunited they are done pretending, and become the real thing on episode 24.
I just started watching this one, so I can tell you for sure what actually happens when I am done watching this.
Additionally, there seems to be a SML. It is a villain that is obsessed with FL, and during the main couple separation on episode 18 to 24, the guy goes out of his way to try forcing FL to be with him, which I imagine will be incredibly annoying, but fortunately, FL is not a damsel in distress but a strong fighter and strong character who puts him in his place right away.
Overall, the show's rating is high, so this might be worth watching...
Love first responders great show but I think they broke up in season 2, like they got together in season 1 near…
The level of disrespect here is over 9,999! This girl obviously caring way too much for another man... I cannot understand why there are so many dramas where the girl is practically in love with multiple men, because otherwise, it would make no sense for her to care that much for other men...
Just wanted to quickly mention Glaze of love. It's a low budget, cdrama but I enjoyed it. No break up and a HE.…
I personally prefer lighthearted drama with low angst, and it is even better if the main couple stays together from beginning to end. However, I understand that not many writers know how to write a good story without misunderstandings, love triangles, break ups and too much angst, because that requires a good and engaging plot with maybe a good antagonist and great character development. I do not mind trading some of this annoying tropes for a drama that might be boring at times, but will give me a warm feeling, a nice experience through an steady romance and a happy ending. Unfortunately, this one sounds bad, but might be worth a try.
Regarding the ending, if they find each other in the end, and in the real world; the usual interpretation is that even if they don't remember each other they will be together because they will always find each other or something along those lines, so I'd say that that is a happy ending.
Unfortunately, we seem to have yet another love triangle centered plot. Another "story" about the confused girl that doesn't know how to choose between to perfect eligible bachelors that for some reason love her imperfect and flawed self, and would take a bullet for her. Another story where the girl has no boundaries but it doesn't matter because her "true love" could watch her making a baby with another man and would have to apologize for it, and take her back and make amends for his transgressions while she keeps the other guy around anyway... funny fact is that Japanese Dramas are way worse in this department. So sad...
