I‘m 3 episodes in and it’s very awkward and sometimes uncomfortable to watch this drama bc Punn is so very childlike. Not even childish but childlike which makes the romantic aspect of the series…questionable.
I’m a bit confused regarding the first story. Did Khunkao end up with the real Mr Kim? After Pleum died (?) the body opened it’s eyes. Was that the actual mr Kim returning? Was it even true that Khunkao liked Mr Kim while he still then dated Pleum? Is that way he lied to his sister regarding the letter? Idk man, but I’m confused…somebody help,
Hello, can anyone tell me if this is better than the original in terms of plot?
I personally don’t consider it better. Lower budget, bad editing, lower sound quality etc. I kinda liked the first two episodes but then it lost its direction imo. The actors tried (especially Lee Jung Min) but can’t quite hold the candle to the chemistry that the Thai actors had. There’re obviously people who enjoy this version more and other people prefer the original one but one can only decide for oneself…
Nope. I guess I’m the odd one out here. It wasn’t for me. I couldn’t connect neither with the story nor with the characters. Especially Ba Ram was somewhat unlikable to me.
Haven’t been able to enjoy a kbl to this degree for a long time! Good writing, tight pacing, interesting couple dynamics! I love Maru! The guy almost alone carried the show for me! I didn’t catch the supposed cameo though. Could someone tell me when the guys from the first season show up?
Finished it and I’m a bit surprised by the comments bc I personally liked it more than most other kbls. Yes, the story could’ve been a little different but overall it was nice. The actors actually have chemistry and aren’t afraid of intimacy.
So it looks like this got really bad reviews. Is it that bad or is it worth watching?
I wouldn’t consider it worse than the average kbl. In fact, the guys have chemistry and especially Ki Hyun Woo possesses strong charisma and energy. It’s not a masterpiece but it’s worth a watch.
A bit meagre on the plot but the interactions made up for it for the most part. What I like about Taiwanese bl is that they’re not afraid of physical contact. Overall it was cute.
I finished it and now I understand low rating. The editing is atrocious. There were parts that I liked like the pining and I liked that both boys were very flawed (especially Jo Yoo Jae) but otherwise it’s a rather unsatisfying watch. The last episode especially was very rushed and actually unnecessary with all the sudden drama added in. Also, while I loved the catchy main song it was often played at the most depressing parts and kind of didn’t fit the overall vibe of the show which is rather dark-ish and depressing for the most part.
