I am telling you, this drama is the boldest than every other Chinese drama showing skinship. Even the extra 40.5 was full of innuendoes. Did you forget their words while playing chess? ("Teach me this move." "I already did. You know it!" "But the way you do it is different.") Bwahaha. What other C-drama do you recall with dialogue like that?!

I don't think she yearned that much. She was a pretty oblivious character after she changed from her male persona. I think she was happy the way she wanted to be happy at the end, wandering around with her 17 (and not TSJ), with that doll sitting on her medicine box LOL.

You can see this by searching in daily motion. It gets taken down daily, though, so sometimes you have to be patient. Or, you can go to that pirate site that I won’t name because it’s full of Trojans and viruses. You can see it there if your device is armored and protected.

The one I read a long while back was a sexy threesome. I laughed quite a bit while reading it but it was pretty well-written, with some steamy stuff.
It's a fun exercise to ease the pain. I dabbled a bit at the old A03 a decade ago when there was a whole section dedicated to Xiang Liu/LYF fanfic. It was funny because every fanfic was about Xiang Liu (and how he didn't die) and almost none was dedicated to the others. Like now, there were so many upset readers/fans. Now it's drama viewers. Ah, how history repeats.

I'm doing a lot of this, in between starting and stopping other dramas LOL.

1) It's hard for top actresses to get top listing in their dramas from male liuliangs who want top listing, so their ML is most often someone younger willing to be #2.
2) Agree with the lack of skinship but it appears the script writer wanted the romance to be in the dialogue. Still, yes, I agree they should have been given a few more romantic scenes. In the BTS, you can hear WXY asking for it and the director saying no. This director appeared very conservative vs the LLTG director, who, in the BTS got all fangrrrly when he managed to get Leo Wu to kiss Lu Si.
3) Duke Su first wanted to use XXF as his pawn and that was why he kept "saving" her. He told his blades (guards) that to watch a good show, one should support the players. Later, he fell in love with the FL and often inserted himself into her situations. She didn't ask for his help until she realized she could use him as HER pawn. She kept tempting him by asking him whether he wanted to watch a good show; this is how we know how brilliant our FL was because she could READ Duke Su like a book and knew his weakness.
4) Ending didn't follow the book (HE). This director, to me, wanted a nice big male macho battle at the end. He appeared to have been thinking about how to insert this iconic scene in his head of the ML holding the pendant in his mouth. He got his iconic shot, but lost his audience. Stupid director. But, there is a five minute episode 40.5 given by the director-in-charge showing happy moments of the couple when they reunited, along with their child. Have you seen it?

Always! Since the very first time I read about you in that book. you have been unforgettable, Xiang Liu. And thank you, TJC, for bringing that Xiang Liu in my mind to life after all those years of "longing." You made me "see" him at last, in so many sense of that word.

It’s basically about young immortals without guidance growing up through cultivation to take over the realms. The responsible adults seemed to have gone off mourning or partying lol. I loved this drama and have so many thoughts about each of the protagonists’ journeys.
