Yup. Why?

Well, in actual novel canon, Lost You Forever referred to CX. The novel had three sections: Lost You Forever, Miss You Forever, Love You Forever. However, drama Lost You Forever certainly pointed to XL. Tong Hua, the author, made this change, for sure.

My take is even simpler, just following drama and not the novel (which I loved). It is that the title is ironic because SY lost XL forever and didn’t even know it. She is forever oblivious.

Eh, I never really question her choice. That's her choice after changing from a man back to a girl and suddenly losing all her cunning ways :). I do like to analyze Xiang Liu vs Jing as a choice, which has a slightly different bent to why XY chose (as if she had a choice, even, since XL kept c*ckblocking himself) the fox over the snake. But I did that ten years ago--the drama version needs another set of thoughts/reaction.
