Many didn’t but since they gave us (me) 40.5, I mostly forgave them. When I recommend to friends, I tell them to stop watching at Episode 40, 37 minute mark right after the wedding and go straight to 40.5 and everything will be wonderful. 😆. My friends never regretted my advice ha ha
Looking for a recommendation... I have only the 25th to binge a series and I'm currently hesitating between this…
The Double has a lot of sexual tension and Blossom has a very Ming LAN love/family affair. It depends on what your current fancy is. Both are excellent, with the former my #1 drama for 2024. But you can’t go wrong with either drama.
I'm thinking about to watch this drama, but I'm not sure yet.Can someone please let me know, what this drama is…
It's not "romantic" because the romance tropes of chasing the FL or even courting isn't in this drama. It's a revenge drama with the ML and FL starting with their own agenda and their fates criss-crossing. However, there was an instant attraction because the ML appreciated the FL's mental smartness. She stood toe-to-toe with him in mental games; in fact, I think she got the better of him several times.
Their conversations were very flirtatious because she, in her hidden previous life, was married and she didn't have the gu-niang attitude at all. She punned back quite flirtatiously. If you speak the language, you'll go oooooh at all the witty comebacks and the underlying sexual tension in their words to each other. But, even if you don't, you'll enjoy the actors' crazy chemistry.
finished the first ep and it's very promising! my only criticism is the acting from young song mo; it's quite…
It’s a rebirth, but not from a baby. It’s more like a do-over, a very popular Chinese drama trope, where the character goes back to an important moment after his/her death in order to “do over.”

I first saw Familiar Stranger when this kind of format debut on YouTube and got to know Cheng Lei. Then, every time this director had something out, I would click and watch. He never disappoints!

Yes, the still have those frozen dead fish kiss among novice actresses but some pairs are really bold! 😂 And they get all the fans looking for their dramas, despite the same repeated manuscripts over and over 😂. We will have to compare favorite actors!
There are so many good dramas currently airing that even if there is fast pass, I doubt I will be able to keep…
I'm so behind too! Same as you, I have this, Riverside Code, Under the Skin (OMG), Brocade Odyssey, See Her Again (so good in Cantonese) and...and..one more, I can't remember! Oh dear.... But anyway, just can't keep up at the end of the year LOL.

Sometimes a short-format/short story writer tells a better story, especially with this kind of story that has multiple layering. Also, this director excels in this theme of multiple lives with multiple agendas. I'm a fan!

Yes, I am a fan of the short form dramas, especially those taken from Douyin. OMG, those CEO dramas, LOLOLOL. Some of the kissing scenes are so hawt, esp with certain of the more famous actors of that genre.
