Strong fl is the realistic potrayal of women so maybe instead of saying strong fl maybe it should be realistic…
Not all female lead characters are portrayed as strong women in dramas. I think realistic would'nt be correct because both strong and damsel in distress characters are realistic for some depending on who they are (e.g. some women actually like acting clueless in real life). Thus, what I wrote, is what I meant. Btw, I don't mean to be disrespectful. I am just replying back to your comment with an honest answer. Sometimes when reading comments, certain comments can sound obnoxious if a person doesn't understand the motive behind the comment. :-)
River Where The Moon Rises is no longer in the 7 digits. It now has a rating of 8.0....and rightfully so (in my opinion). 😁 https://kisskh.at/68055-cut-to-heart
There are many, many dramas in this list I would not have scored at 0.86 🤣 But that aside, I'm genuinely surprised…
Hey! I never mentioned that I thought an 8.6 was a low rating. In the description area, I mentioned that people leave low ratings based upon the simple fact that they disliked the female/male lead didn't end up together or one of the leads died. The reason why I choose 8.6 (8.5 - 0.0) to be a marker, is because typically, people have watched or already heard of all the dramas with ratings over an 8.5. For instance, when browsing through the top drama page on MDL [https://kisskh.at/shows/top], we have to click through many pages to finally get to the ratings below a 8.6, and I am not sure if many people invest their time into doing so. I think Weaving a Tale of Love is rated low (7.5), and if I didn't see it on a list on MDL (newest/upcoming Chinese Period/Historical dramas) I wouldn't have come across it. I rated that drama a 9.0.
Naked Fireman is a Korean drama that is rated a 7.5 but I think should be a 9.0. Go to my profile to check out the review that I wrote for that drama. https://kisskh.at/21979-naked-fireman
Horrible or dissatisfying? Scarlet heart was dissatisfying but not horrible in my opinion. oh my lady lord was…
I agree with what you said about Moon Lovers. I actually enjoyed the drama, and thought the ending was great. I wrote an article on MDL about this topic, it'll be published before December. =)
Can you further define horrible ending? Because for me, a horrible ending is much more relevant if the show overall…
It's subjective, but generally speaking a horrible ending means the ending of the drama did not coincide with the storyline in the beginning and middle.
For example: If the lead couples got together at the end of Good Bye Princess it would not have been realistic and would have been bad storytelling.
He's a whole snack!
