There are some dramas I watch on surface level but others such as Love's Ambition I cannot help but analyze. Even…
OMG, I do, too. These laugh-out-loud comedic moments are golden! I keep rewinding each one multiple times because they are so funny. I love this series and can't wait for the rewatch!
same. couldn't understand how come they are in their breakup era when sfl hasn't even confessed yet, let alone…
They were spending time together. It's because she suddenly started feeling really insecure about the differences in the level of their professional/academic achievements and decided they should put the relationship on hold for a week.
Eating my words so bad coz I can't resist checking the new episode. Ughhhh. Anyway, I find it ridiculous and unrealistic…
Everything you said!!! I just watched 23 and loved every single second.
Even though it wasn't SHM's goal when making the investment presentation, I think our FL was looking at him lovingly as he spoke because what he was saying was in her interest, not the investor's, as opposed to the sly fox, as you so correctly named Jiang.
I'm so glad SHM was there, too, asking all the right questions, like will your sister and others agree to your plan and explaining what happens if it fails.
I was also laughing so hard when the two brothers-in-law were drinking whiskey and reading their relationship books and making "Don't be afraid to embarrass yourself" a mantra.
Which drama is that? I have been waiting for Love Has Fireworks but not sure if it has been cancelled.
It's still on the Tencent website, so I'm praying that it will air. There's a MDL page for it and some say it could be, others say it won't be cancelled. I cannot bear the thought because my heart is still fluttering from the news that this series exists. I adored him in Love Me, Love My Voice, which I've watched 10 million times.
I feel like now's the calm or happy time before the storm. But this arc is probably to contrast between Haoming…
Since they kind of grew up together in the same town, I feel like she's more concerned about the differences in their intelligence and academic backgrounds than economic.
He didn't believe she loved him. He thought she was acting. He only realized she was sincere when she asked for…
Operative words being "keeps telling him"!!! That little boy is my hero and I love how he never misses an opportunity to introduce Yan in his conversations with him and urge him to do the right thing.
i know many people didn't like Qiao Lin character and main reason is that how she was being portrayed in the episodes…
I absolutely believe that the father did not speak to Qiao Lin about whether the limited resources they had should be spent on the daughter with the greatest chance of success. The parents did not care about Xu Yan at all.

I agree. I think he cared for her from the start and it grew into love, but he was unsure of and insecure about how she felt about him. As I've said elsewhere in this forum, he was quite tender with her and was proud of her and he seemed to really love spending time and having dinner together and cooking dinner for her. If he didn't care about her, someone like the lady preparing the meals at his parents house would be making their meals.
He got SO defensive when they talked about his ChenChen lie and then went WAY to far in the ensuing conversation, upsetting Yan and us.
And then when she asked for a divorce, he was angry and shocked because, in my opinion, he intended to be married to her for life. She was perfect for him--lovely, smart, stylish, confident, had her own career, helpful in his career, beloved by his mum and the little boy. He told his father divorce was something he would never have considered and the only reason they were going through the motions was because of her. He also never took off his wedding band and probably never imagined she would stick to her guns the way she has.
I don't know why they make these men so dim when it comes to love, but this series is so bloody good and has so many funny moments. I feel like a crackhead from the amount of attention I've given this show, lol.
When they find out they leave what happens up to the couple and the father warns against a scandal. The MIL and the little boy miss her terribly. ChenChen is hilarious because he keeps trying to reunite them.
I think it felt ambiguous to us because we were like WTAF, but he didn't let her kiss him and I think he was just…
I really do not think he would have allowed her to kiss him because if you think the bitch is out of control now, just imagine what would happen if they kissed.

I think I need it, lol. I have for 7 months been in a "Cdrama romance induced coma" (hat tip to reddit user for naming this condition).
I looove Tan Jian Ci and am so excited about this series!!! Plus there are other things on that site I'd like to watch.
I ask because I am thinking of subscribing because I just saw that Tan Jian Ci is starring in an upcoming modern romance and I suddenly feel dizzy!!!
