Actually I was wrong. I'm on #16. But yes, he was awful in 14, slamming those files down on the table and being so rude. And I always thought he cared about her, too, and was very tender with her and doing all of that cooking. Like, do we think his father even knows where the kitchen is, lol?
Now the MIL and the little boy are all upset. This series is so good.

I just finished episode 14 and am lucky my MacBook is still intact. When he sat down in her apartment and said he heard she was going to kill herself; I'll watch, I wanted to die laughing.

I don't understand this kind of desperation in women for a man who clearly does not want anything to do with her. It's insane.

But now I'm smiling because our FL is moving ahead with this divorce and Mr. Shen is so not happy about it. I hope they don't contain their reunion to the final episode. I want them to reunite and be a serious power couple, slaying everyone who got in their way before, like Fang Lei and that bitch Yan worked with.

Me, too, and I've been watching this almost all day and probably won't sleep till I've finished episode 19. I can't believe that after Our Generation and Deep Affectionate Eyes, I've turned myself into a drug addict fiending for the remaining 12 episodes again!!!

I try to empathize with the characters but can do that easily when I know what's going to happen. I also want to strangle her parents after watching episode 4 and slap the sister. There was a synopsis of this series on reddit that included his regret and I've been reading the comments on this page.I have a bad habit of reading about episodes I haven't yet watched. Sometimes I do that to ease anxiety I may feel for the characters.

Our Generation was the first series I watched as it aired, and that was torture! Then I did it to myself again with Deep Affectionate Eyes, lol. But with Bon Appetit, Your Majesty, I binged in one night the first 8 episodes and then watched 9 and. 10 as they aired and then waited till the final airing date to watch 11 and 12.

I have what someone on reddit described as "Cdrama romance induced coma head," lol. And have been watching Kdrama romances lately, too, and am currently in love with the ML from King the Land.

I think he is so elegant and I swoon when he did that little dance after listening to her podcast and the text before she returned to Paris for her final semester. And when they take little naps.

I do ff through most of the SML who apparently would have been fine having his immature younger sister in a loveless marriage. I think I dislike him more with each rewatch.

Agree. I am about to watch episode 5 now and even though I spoiled myself and know there's sadness to come, his tenderness toward her seems very, very real.

I bought the series on Prime recently because I like it so much. But that's why I recognized her. She is so poised, whether she's being evil or nice.

Great review. I loved this, too, and want to cook some of the recipes. Yoon A is open to a second season, which I would love. Also read an interview with the king. His responses were remarkably mature. Hope to see him in a modern drama. This was my first costume drama, and now I'm tempted to start watching a few more.
