Let me tell you, I hate him with the fire of a thousand suns. But someone here gave me an interesting perspective yesterday. Darim and her family have been like a safety net for him for most of his life. He's gone temporarily insane because of the threat of losing her and her mother to the beautiful, rich, and professionally successful in his own right Gong Ji Hyeok and thinks he's in love, poor thing.

That being said, I still hate him and do not want him interfering with our love birds for even a second more.

Right? Like, just enjoy the show. Forget that bit except for the "I love you." That was so magnificent and unexpected.

Hmmm. Interesting theory that makes me want to give Seon U a teensy bit of grace. Because when Hyeok and Darim marry he will take her away, and I can't see her leaving her mother behind, although the mother may choose to stay because it's familiar. He'll be stuck with the thieving younger sister, if she ever shows up.

Thank you so very much for this! I've noticed in these dramas there's often some comment about speaking formally or informally and now, even though I don't know the language, that will actually mean something to me.

I cannot bring myself to feel anything but annoyance regarding Seon U because he just goes too far to the point of being obnoxious. At the hotel she told their friends they are like brother and sister and laughed/scoffed at the idea of marrying him. Like, take a hint. I could have used one less scene of him competing with Hyeok so we could have more private time with the MLs together or with their mums.

Only two more weeks. :(

I haven't been skipping but laugh appreciatively when this comment on Tencent has crossed the screen twice in the last couple of days: I want to see less of them.

The half sister in King the Land was foul. Like, how did she have such a sweet, darling child?

The one here is delusional. With his man whore tendencies, the father will not disown our ML for having a so-called affair. I can see him now teling her, "How do you think you came into this world?" He'll be angrier at her for trying to ruin the company and trash is beloved heir.

I don't feel sorry for the sister at all. Everyone knows she's a left-behind, illegitimate child but to his credit, the father still let her rise within the company. Most may not have acknowledged her existence like that. If she was smart and not so selfish, she would have aligned herself with Ji Hyeok because she knows he hates the father and doesn't want to work for him.

Hyeok would have been right by her side, just like he was when she led the noisy kids away.

Yes, the rivalry was funny, but I would have preferred one less of those scenarios for a private scene with the two main leads alone or together with their mums. Are he and Jun going downstairs for dinner every bloody night?!?

Except our chaebol prince just happened to see the guy with the gasoline tank when returning from cleaning up whatever the little girl spilled on him.

I honestly feel like she has finally pulled herself up from the weight of her horrible, dismissive parents and just feels free to do what she wants and to hell with what anyone else thinks. If Ji Hyeok's mother hadn't "fainted," she was fully prepared to blow up that engagement ceremony on her own.

I also kind of think that she may suspect Seon's feelings are more to do with his petty jealousy over the two leads' relationship. She is just reveling in loving who she wants and feeling free as a bird. I don't think she'd go into a depression if it doesn't work out for her. She'll find someone else to love.

I did notice him looking at SFL differently in that scene you mention. He also had her babysit and play chess with Jun that same night.

Now that there's a hot, passionate chaebol on.FL's tail, SML, after decades of purely friendship, suddenly thinks he's in love with her and gets all competitive. FL, on the other hand views him as a brother and can't even fathom the idea of a romance with him.

The competition between the two men was funny, but I couldn't help wishing Seon wasn't around so much. I would have loved more family bonding time with the two leads and their mums.

That said, I adored so many moments. When Ji Hyeok was so thrilled to learn his mum would be moving into Darim's house, I was as happy as he was.

Just an "I love you." Swoon, swoon, swoon. That was such a sweet surprise.

LOL. Hopefully he'll pay the electric bill. He was so proud, too. Love him.

Oh, and let's not forget he wants her to meet his parents, lol!!!
