I have always thought that though he was a complete ass, he loves XG. And after she reads him the riot act he understands gets what she said and tries to be more thoughtful. Wish this had been 40 episodes!!!

You are going to take back all of these words, lol. It gets better with each episode. The 2ML actor is phenomenal, which is why we all loathe him so much! And you will be wanting to find a man like the ML if you don't already have one.

It's more mature and very limited time for the asshole, but boy, was he the worst!!!

Other than not having a full wedding, I think you'll quite enjoy the final episode. It didn't feel rushed to me and we got to see their post-wedding life and witness their sweet family life.

It was very satisfying. I pray your words reach writer/director/producer ears everywhere. I would have liked more wedding stuff, but can live without it given what we got.

One of the delights of this series is how they cut away to things like this and the friends witnessing the takedown of Sad Sack SML.

I don't know if that's something many girls in China would do, but it is something American girls would definitely do for a crush. I started running at a certain tiny park at 6 am many moons ago because a crush ran there in the mornings. I think that's why I feel in my heart she wasn't in love, just kind of proactive, lol.

I melted when he said they could not have a long-distance relationship because he needs to see her every day. I think the cousin is going to be a great boyfriend/husband when he grows up because he has the most excellent tutors--his father and cousin-in-law.

I totally agree that they were not meant to be. He would have forced her to give up a job he loves while LYS did everything possible to ensure she thrived. SML would have expected her to be a corporate wife rather than a corporate leader. Can't see him doing childcare while she's on a business trip. He also was so, so, so self-centered and self-pitying, whereas our darling put his love for XG above everything else, including the accident that so drastically changed his life.

I cannot remember the wording, but I think she was saying that XG wouldn't mind it if he reached out and apologized for past behavior because she's so happy and successful now. And he's saying she's not the kind of person that needs that. I need to watch again.
