I'd been watching on IQIYI up to 31 and there was nothing today. Thankfully I could turn to Tencent on my laptop for the last 5 episodes.

Green Tea Slattern and her stupid spawn got what they deserved. That daughter killed me talking about how she could have had a stable job if her mother hadn't brought her to mooch off Mr. Nie. Being a productive human being seems to be the one part of XG's life that she didn't try to replicate, silly cow!!!

The solar garden turned out beautifully!!! And I like how XG's friends rose up the corporate ladder, too, especially Yin Jie, while the uni friends were drifting apart.

And yes, it was wonderful to witness their lives post-marriage. So often these series end with the wedding or two minutes of post-wedding life.

I am missing this series already.

That whole episode made me feel a bit weepy. Except, of course, when the Lin family was leaving the airport and it cut to SML and company. Love that he got to see what happy looks like. And thank goodness Chris did not attach herself to that man. But she sure did make a lot of assumptions about XG just from seeing her during that ski trip. She at least was woman enough to give her credit for all of her successes.

I love that series so much and have watched it many times. Sometimes I've had to ff'd through the food scenes because they make me so hungry. I am desperately seeking Dr. Mo's pig trotter stew recipe!

Anyway, XG's father yelled at the girl for her part but she didn't really "pay" for it till later when her so-called friends scammed her and her mother out of a ton of money and Mr. Nie finally got fed up and decided to kick them out and sell the villa.
