Can you spoil on what happened with the psycho princess?

Oh, thanks so much for explaining. It’s definitely sounds bittersweet but I’m looking forward to seeing it play out in the show.

Spoilers don’t diminish my enjoyment at all. The only time they do are in mysteries/detective shows. 😂 Anyway, I read a few on here already and I’m looking forward to their execution in the show. By the way, who is Jiang? I can’t place him at all. Is he a new character introduced later in the show?

Thanks so much for this. You made me love this drama even more. I’m only on ep27 since I’m watching on Viki. Absolutely love everything about this drama so far and I can be sure, with your spoiler, that I won’t be disappointed. Glad for info on that emperor too. Currently where I am he’s unconscious. I wondered if it was his own scheme in part. Looking forward to the revelation of the truth.

Whether it’s rape, gang-rape, groping, and other sexual assault, it’s all gross/disgusting. I’m sure none of us would like to be groped on a crowded train by a stranger no matter the circumstances and/or his looks and mannerisms, for example. As a female, I find all of it disgusting. It’s awful enough to witness it with the crown prince and the Xie girl. At least in modern day this is immoral and a crime and in the past, at least it’s immoral to men of conscience.

I have to wait until those episodes are released and subbed to understand exactly what was going on so I can’t comment on why that girl chose to blow herself up only after the male lead flung her away. I need context and a read on her mindset which only the subs can provide me with.

Regarding the kidnapper, I still think of him as a potential rapist. If he was a gentleman he wouldn’t be forcing himself on her and groping her body. It’s so icky to watch his unwanted behavior. I’m glad for her that she escaped that humiliation but I see him with her again in the ending theme. Yuck.

Anyway, I saw the raw episodes through 12. I assume you’re speaking of the dude that kidnapped her, right? More than anything I was hoping that she doesn’t get raped. I don’t care if his stupid plan failed and he died a terrible death. All I cared about is that she didn't suffer such humiliation like her friend who was raped by the crown prince.

Agreed. He looks smoldering handsome to me. His appearance as a General is convincing. This is the first I have seen this actor too. Looking forward to this story progress.

What are you saying? I’m currently on episode 2 and see no romantic vibe from either of them. In fact I think they rub each other the wrong way and at least I can understand why Eun Tak tells off HR for her stink attitude. I imagine viewers will find out why she acts like that but right now she’s unlikeable. Eun Tak only started actually taking an interest in her after he curiously read her blog only after her fake apology and their confrontation.

Yeah. It’s the first time I have encountered a 4/10 rating for a drama that just premiered.

I just finished watching what would be considered part of episode 39 that will be released on Viki next week and I hope they gloriously take down Fu. More precisely, I hope his comeuppance is a devastating blow to him in every way and regard. This guy should never have a future as an official. Everything and everyone that interacts with him is ruined. That daughter of Prince Kang should consider herself lucky to have escaped his cowardly and awful character.

That weasel Fu keeps escalating his evil deeds. Now he actually stabs his teacher with a dagger. I hope by the end he’s executed publicly.

Foreign crown prince is such an ingrate. I suppose he’s true to form like any spoilt, “all about me” royalty. A’Juan might have done well to ignore his blight with the bandits but alas, they didn’t know who the ingrate was.

The evil stepmother is true to form. It would be nice if her end turns out cruel for all the crimes against humanity that she has committed.

Same. I don’t find it draggy at all. I have watched 38 episodes so far and things are happening.

I have no problem with crying. However, when the crying becomes many minutes and repeats again a short time after, it can actually have a counter effect. Also, if the writer was sacrificing telling a tight story for a “creative commercial enterprise”, I hope they achieved their goal. It’s kind of sad that this show was ranked high a short time ago and has basically plunged to the rating of an average daily Korean show. Hopefully at least the writer achieved his/her monetary goal even though he/she didn’t achieve a memorable show in a good way.

No disrespect but you made me laugh. The whole series was already about them. After they met they became practically inseparable. The development of other characters were sacrificed for them. I don’t need to see more of all that crying when it was already established that they were close. So close that somehow it still turns out in the end that Do Yeon who knew and supported JG for many years was no longer a blip on his radar. Whatever! Character development is indeed important but that doesn’t mean the writer shouldn’t spend time developing the other characters as part of the story as well. For a long time it felt like the other characters were props to consult with JG or TY when necessary. Perhaps in the cast list above the other main characters should be clearly placed in the support category.

No, 16 episodes were sufficient. Don’t forget all those long drawn out scenes of Tae Yi crying over Jin Gyeom around mid-series. And even after she went back to 2020 from 2021, there are all these precious minutes more that were given to her crying and thinking back to what she learned in 2021 about Jin Gyeom. It’s not enough that she spent time at his grave crying over him. She had to come home and do some more crying. There was also one episode where about 45 minutes were given to them just hanging out in Jin Gyeom’s old house. I remember because it felt like a filler episode. Anyway, what’s done is done and cannot be undone.

It’s like the only characters that mattered were Tae Yi and Jin Gyeom. So sad really when so much more could have been done with characters like Min Hyuk, Si Young and Do Yeon. Do Yeon was a reporter that could be used in a good story telling way. Both Min Hyuk and Si Young were from Alice with access to knowledge about time travel. They could have been used to develop the story on the time travel side particularly with Alice, the Teacher, and conflicting agendas. Whatever! It’s over now. My enjoyment lasted only until halfway through the series before JG and TY became so clingy and sappy with each other.

Mydramalist has this show as no longer airing. Has anybody seen through to the ending?
