Thanks for posting! Do you have any information on the 4th version (in addition to The Wedding Color Is Like This, Promise You Brilliance/Xu Ni Yao Yan and Marriage Hues/Wedding Whispers).
I thought this version lacked the emotional punch and intensity of the Wang Ge Ge/He Jian Qi version. Wang Kai…
KalosTV under the name Falling for My Husband. I didnt buy the membership so had to watch commercials in order to watch the remaining non-free episodes - took me a few days to watch all the episodes.
A negative for me was the lead actor and his of putting persona, thumbs all the way down, even Yao Yu Chen’s…
I thought this version lacked the emotional punch and intensity of the Wang Ge Ge/He Jian Qi version. Wang Kai Wu never came across as emotionally invested as He Jian QI.
On a positive note, the app I watched this drama on had really good subs. I finally was able to clearly understand what the FL said in the hospital that upset the ML so bad he threw the gift he got her away. The subs for the other 2 versions are kinda garbled and unclear (especially for Mrs Zhou version which had machine generated subs).
Yes, exactly! Based on the description, I thought they weren't going to follow the normal storyline of what I call the "He put other woman first, she's gone" series of dramas.
The above description is incorrect when it says "the two slowly resolved the misunderstanding and got together." She never gets back together with him. She forgives him but moves on...
One of the versions I watched showed the girl he was chasing after while abroad she lived a very loose life there..…
It sounds like they at least tried to provide some explanation for the conflict between the leads in the version you mention above. I just kept waiting for the drama to provide a explanation that made sense, especially given the ML vicious cruelty towards the FL before he left to go abroad when he made clear that he found nothing worthy about her.
In this version, I don't even think the ML was ever with the SFL as she had another boyfriend the entire time they were abroad and the SFL didn't start pursuing the ML until they both came back to China...
I just watched a drama with Liu Lan Bo that had a similar backstory problem. Leads married in name only for 3 years and ML makes major headline news escorting what FL believes to be the ML's real love. ML comes home from escorting the SFL and immediately demands a divorce. But once FL happily agrees to divorce him, ML begins to pursue the FL, leaving me scratching my head because he was the one who asked her for the divorce. While the subs in the version I watched weren't that great, we never got an explanation of why the ML wanted a divorce. I don't expect these drama to be anything more than entertainment, but it would be nice if they could at least try make sense while they are entertaining us...
One of the best rebirth dramas I've watched with a very sweet romance. Great blend of comedy to offset the drama. Wang Yi Ran was great as the conflicted ML.

As always, thanks for posting! Your summaries and links are wonderful!!
Also, I agree with your evaluation of the Wang Yi Ran version. One of the better rebirth dramas I've watch with the nice blend of comedy to keep the overall tone from being too angsty.
