did i read that right? he jianqi and ma qiuyuan in a non-vertical drama? nice. probably going to wait until it…
I think that a lot of the Vertical drama actors/actresses are better than the network/full drama actors/actresses. Hopefully, they will be able to move to lead roles in these types of dramas instead of just Verticals or Short webs (but then again, without them the vertical drama wouldn't be nearly as good)...
Not sure how the ML is in the other versions yet, but he's one OTT crazy/obsessed guy in this one...but then again all of the males around the FL appear to be crazy... Overall, a crazy ride of a drama (but in a fun way).
I thought that the 1st version with Zhong Zheng was better (very cohesive and enjoyable) than the 2nd version with Zhu Yiwei (FL in this version came across as way too childish and they seemed to switch genre from rom/com to drama in the last half hour). Based on your comments I decided to avoid the 3rd version.

Thanks for posting this, much appreciated.
I've watched the first 2 versions and like the first version listed above the best. The storyline was cohesive and enjoyable. While the FL was young (18) she wasn't childish. The second version wasn't cohesive, and for some scenes I was only able to fully understand because of having watched the first version. While the leads in the second version have a lot of chemistry the FL was way too childish (she's 18 but acts 9, and he is 22). And the last half hour of the second version seemed like they decided to switch genres from rom/com to drama... Based on comments, I decided to avoid watching the 3rd version... Makes you wonder about the source material...
Great couple - Bai Xin Yi and Zhu Yi Wei chemistry comes through in all of their dramas. Of the 3 versions of this drama that I've watched, this was by far my favorite. However, all three versions failed to explain why the ML came back from abroad in love with the FL when he clearly wasn't in love with her when he left...
Sadly, first 9 episodes onlyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3zN4G4A8E0&list=PLv614kkFMMG2EsRSS_UXdgx1xrqYqHQ_PDramabox…
I watched this version, the Zhai Yi Ying & Gan Wang Xing version and the Chen Bai Qiao version. I'd like to track down the other versions. Any links or names of the leads in the other missing versions would be much appreciated.
Of the 3 versions I've watched this version was by far the best - Bai Xin Yi and Zhu Yi Wei make a great couple in all of their dramas. However, all three versions left me wondering when and why did the ML fall in love with the FL. It was clear in all 3 versions that he was actively pursuing the SFL when he went abroad and clearly told the FL that he had no interest in her. So what happened while he was abroad to suddenly come home 6 years later apparently in love with and wanting to pursue the FL.

I watched another drama recently that I think has a very similar plot line (at least based on the first 18 minutes I was able to watch of Humbly Expressing). Leads together in college but ML actually loved someone else and left to follow the SFL abroad. After 6 years he comes back to pursue the FL. Drama didn't do a good job in explaining why the ML was in love with the FL when he returned since he obviously didn't love her when he went abroad... Hard to buy into their romance because of this... Link to this other version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XMoYhZqzhE
Also, appreciate all of your time and effort in tracking down the links!
