Oh, yes, I agree with you on Rise Of Phoenixes, I love the initial banter and intrigue but yeah its hard to take towards the end. The worst was when they killed the school masters wife and NiNi became so irritating I cant watch her anymore.
Getting back to this drama, I hope they will redeem what happened in the last 2 episodes somehow but I don’t think so.

Some of this drama was good, really good, and we eagerly watched hoping for AMai to have more screen time with CYQ natural chemistry and fun together , but alas as at ep 30 I am seriously disappointed in how this drama is headed for AMai, we dont have much time for miracles to happen 😭

I agree, A Mai does not need to go to battle with the jealous Empress, I don’t care if jealous empress marries ML, I, like you, will do a bit of FF to get through this boring scenario.

And isnt that a more logical and better story to follow, once again thanks for the insight into novel.

Such obvious and lazy writing, oh let’s throw her in jail so he can mary PM Lins daughter. Hahaha, this drama is turning into a comedy. No way now will we get our 2ML to be her love interest. I am already bored 🥱 with the next few episodes if they are anything like the last 2.
Thank you for giving us insights into the book, such a great story, if only they had followed that script we would all be happy.

I know, I know, I am persevering, I have enjoyed some of it especially CYQ parts and Mai is generally watchable, I dropped my rating a little from 8.5 to 8, it depends on how the rest of the episodes go to the end now, I will revisit accordingly 👍

Exactly correct, just out of nowhere, the director has allot to answer for if he has asked the actor to perform like this. And where oh where is CYQ, for some boredom relief. I am really struggling with these last few episodes, I believe he appears in ep 30, nearly there 😅.
I wish they would drop some of the hopefully excellent new dramas soon and I will be dumping this one like a hot potato.

I am getting tired of these trouble causing mothers, nearly in every single drama, it’s veering right away from what I thought it would be about and I admit I am becoming a little bored. The ML laugh makes me cringe every time I hear it , what is the purpose of this I wonder .

Perfect summation, loved reading your take on this, the “who are you” bit reminds me of Cheshire cat in Alice, now that is a trippy story. One very major major issue kept on annoying me though the PM and his daughter the Queen know that Sajo Yoon the usurper is not of the previous king’s bloodline, why is everyone pretending they don’t remember that bit of relevant information 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔

So true, the Tae brothers are exceptionally well dressed, not so much the women though and especially the evil chaebol mother, her outfits are atrocious just like her . I actually dropped TRHC because of the styling of the FL in that story aswell as the story itself haha, but the FL 🤦🏻‍♀️
