Do you think so? The kids are fairly wise now, maybe in their minds hopefully its college at all costs not just Qinbei. Although I do hope they get into Qinbei because that is what spurs them on and what Lei Ming promised them, I hope he fulfills his promise to them.

I do understand theyvwere proxies, however they did go through the wedding ceremony and share a room for as short a time as it was. The way that setting was portrayed made me think that they were married. Different take on scene I guess 👍

Ep 16 and 17 was sad to see the separation angst thing happening here as well. I sincerely hope we get back on track for those kids going to Qinbei. We see Lei Ming caring still for them. I know its a drama but it is so good that I am fully invested in what happens to the kids and Lei Ming 🙏

I loved this drama and agree the rating system is not quite right, I rated it a 9 as opposed to the average of 7.8.
I found the ending a little lacklustre but I did not ship them as a couple anyway, I just enjoyed their banter along the way.
Didnt they get married with the other couples? Whats with the proposal at the end and having courtship time together, didnt they already do that throughout the episodes?
Apart from those niggley bits at the end it was a humorous and refreshingly different storyline.

Yes, realistically I agree, somehow I did have a hope that there was a genius there and maybe nit win 🥇 first prize but up there somewhere 🥲

I did finally finish this drama and my last thoughts were why all the killing off of key characters. Chu Yue was not close to the characters so interesting they used her in the end. I am still in The Petty Club and still annoyed at Yuan Lu s and Yu Shisan s demise.

Another exceptional episode 15, Go Li Ran. I am however worried about what the teasers show, I hope not 🙏

I am really excited after watching episode 7 for the older sister to get back with her ex , he clearly still loves her and he will realise to get her back, he has to become stronger and stand up to his family. The younger sister looks cute with the dolphin guy also but that is probably because he is a cutey . Not so worried about SamDal she will find her way.

I agree, I hope it had high ratings too. There are many out there who wont even watch a great drama because if some perceived insult to their idol etc, its quite amusing really. Anyways I am loving this story and cast irrespective of ratings ❤️

Yeah, I get it but the mothers tone is very accusatory , I just would not handle my kids like that, I feel so sorry for what happened to SamDal so I would always give her the benefit of the doubt as her parent. The mother is not doing that at this stage.

I did love that scene as you say and it was executed very well but did she but in because of jealousy?
What are my reasons? I think this character is unnecessary to the script, yes he needs a helper for class 11 and he did choose her but I am afraid that it is a little too contrived by the writers to pair them together so I am therefore opposed to it.

Sadly I am in agreement with you, pompous, self righteous etc etc veritable pain in the rear character, please dont make her his love interest.
