This drama has so much potential... the beginning was really great, with a lot of exciting heist and fulfilling…
WHAT 'disappointing ending'??? Oh, we didn't get to see weasel man squashed - yeah, I would have enjoyed that... But we DID see the mother & daughter reunited (yeah, subtle, not LifeTime or makjang level), and our lovebirds are together. Where's the problem?
Different strokes. I rate this one 9.5 because I really liked it (Ahjumma makes me laugh so hard), however, to…
Bridal Mask is a critically brilliant character study and is on a totally different level than this. Healer is drama crack, pure entertainment, exciting with a fantastic love story. I watch it over and over because it's a comfort watch, a feel-good drama. I seriously doubt I could bear to re-watch Gaksital despite how great it was. And I love Joo Won nearly as much as Ji Chang Wook! Iljimae is ultra-cool but dragged in places.
Im starting to watch it now. I had a hard time watching first 4 episodes, didn't like it at all. After 5th episode…
Okay, I'm watching this again for the 5th time - and paid close attention to the first 3 episodes to see why people somehow think those are boring etc. Sorry, don't understand this at all. Not at all. When I watched it as it aired, the very first episode pulled me in, and it just kept getting better and better. This still happens every time I watch it.
I am so disappointed with the last episode, it is unbelievable how much a bad ending can ruin all this drama's…
It's NOT a bad ending at all! Where are you pulling that from? Watch it a couple more times to see. I grant you, weasel man doesn't get squashed the way I wanted - it's just implied. And there's no big makjang weepy mom/daughter tearjerker reunion scene - again just subtle but undeniably there. But other than that???? EXCELLENT ending - MUCH more satisfying that 9/10 of the KDramas out there! Better than City Hunter, for SURE!!! So really that's utterly ridiculous.
This Drama is GREAT. But a bit on Overrated side. 9.1 is Too much Considering there are Plenty of MASTERPIECES…
Oh, this is drama crack. Sure, critically speaking there are several dramas that beat this as far as writing skill, message, plot construction and theme (like, say, Signal or My Mister). But OMG for sheer story-telling prowess, excitement and the most uncomplicated love story in KDrama, this beats it all.
I feel like that won’t happen since the spoiler for episode 19/20 looks like it’s going down the path of Baek…
That would NOT BE GREAT at all :( I will truly hate that passionately. She likes the sweet, fun, cute boy who's close to her own age, not the guy 10 years older than her with a ton of problems... I like Baek Jin Sang's character, as in he's funny, and his development is interesting. I also love the actor. But having him as a love interest just RUINS the story, so sorry :(
I agree her feelings for him actually felt so random. I thought I had skipped an ep or 2 at first cuz she went…
The thing you've missed, which I've kept pointing out, is that Roo Da does not think Jun Ho's serious when he says he likes her! It's partly because he does seem a rather playful guy who doesn't spend much time in introspection, and also because she doesn't have a high self-esteem. But she likes him. He's a nice kid, uncomplicated and fun.
Why do you want her with the jerk instead of the sweet boy? I think you need to really ask yourself that. I'm…
Oh, yeah, I agree the whole point is to see character development with all of them. She doesn't have to end up with anybody - & it would be cool if this was more like Chief Kim :D
Why do you want her with the jerk instead of the sweet boy? I think you need to really ask yourself that. I'm…
He's sweet here, too. What makes him not sweet in your eyes? Remember, she seems to really think he's joking, and he's got no idea she's distracted with that time loop. He's just wanting to make sure she realizes he's serious. Plus, remember that days are repeating, so a lot of the times he's done things for her, that gets swallowed up and lost when a time loop occurs. As for his relationship with his grandfather, OMG. People really love to hate on rich kids. He's not spoiled. He's used to having money, duh. He is in a struggle with his grandfather in case you didn't notice - grandpa wants him to take over the company but he's not sure he wants to do it. CLUE: spoiled rotten rich boys do NOT offer to work incognito as a minor cog in their grandpa's company. You want to see a spoiled jerk in this, look to Jun Ho's UNCLE. THAT is a toxic piece of entitled trash, right there. Jun Ho is YOUNG. He's immature, the way most sheltered young people of his age will be. He's learning, and most important, he's WILLING to learn. He DOESN'T see himself as some gift to the world at all. He might not quite understand the struggles those in a less privileged position go through (exactly how would he?) but he's deliberately put himself into a position to find out. He's NEVER ONCE 'acted like a victim'. He acts like he doesn't want his grandfather planning out his life for him. Good heavens, there's such a huge difference! He's not perfect (no one is) and kids like him can go bad - lots of temptation. But compared to Mr. Baek there, whoo boy. Sorry. I'll take the kid who's already sweet and wants to do the right thing, who's open to listening and learning - over the one who's possibly a closet narcissist, a compulsive A type personality (I simply can't get along with that kind of person ever) and clueless on his effect on other people, to the point he's caused damage to them. GAG me.
Actually, you really don't want a self-absorbed perfectionist with no social skills as your real-life partner.…
Lots of people do, but it's toxic. Really. I've got 2 failed marriages to offer as proof. If you like fixing people, I suggest going into counseling or medicine. Now, if what you mean is you like people who aren't immediately accessible, that's different. It's ALSO not descriptive of Mr. Baek, who is a self-centered, compulsive perfectionist with no social sense at all nor any idea of the consequences of his actions.
????? He's super adorable. Good heavens, what kind of world is it that we hate the cute sweet guy who wants to…
It's actually not that terribly clear. I think you are misled into thinking that I'm not a fan of our ML actor. I'm actually watching this drama BECAUSE of him LOL. However, his character is pretty toxic. I'm enjoying him learning humility. That said, the second lead starts out better than the ML, and is also maturing and becoming a better person. This writer may change the ending, or may not, but our 2nd lead will remain a sweet boy till the end, I'm very sure. Still love Kang Ji Hwan so very much, however, and will watch anything he's in!
BS - not true at all. WHY do people watch stuff that is very suspenseful and then say things like this? I just…
Only one episode in???? Pffft. What plot holes? They've not even had a chance to explain much!!! Inexplicable happenings, maybe. Unrealistic game development maybe. You not liking the story, acting, etc, perhaps.
Do you even realize that computer game companies have been feverishly working on this ever since STAR TREK's HOLODECK??????…
:D I do agree that the idea of FEELING things in the game would have to involve more than contacts LOL Maybe they will explain later... I've been wanting a holodeck for decades LOL
