Another drama where people didn't bother to check the original source. In THIS one it is obvious from about 5 episodes…
It's called forcing someone backwards towards a hazard YOU see but the one you are intimidating does not. So yeah, pretty much same.

As RoseRain feels it's okay to just make some comment that has no logic then make it impossible for me to reply, I'll just do so here LOL

RoseRain said "No, it's called backing away in fear. It's not the same."

Well, yes, absolutely it is the same - backing away in fear as the deer/red lady approaches - who can SEE that he's going to fall!!!! Sheesh. Why try so hard to justify this act of jealousy when the character himself is having to deal with the consequences? You seem to totally fail at understanding the logic of this plot.

Pushed him over a cliff - although as we progress with the flashbacks, looks like the deer/red lady/prof just got him to stumble backwards over that cliff w/o touching him. Same deal, however.

Exactly! I agree with both these comments!

On-hold till it turns out who she ends up with. The second lead is terrible
No he is not. Even if you prefer Mr. Baek, you are missing the ENTIRE point of this drama if you think Jun Ho is terrible.

Is this the worst drama ever?
Not at all. This is a charming, sweet little fairy tale, very well done and quite entertaining.

Reading other commemts is it just me who really likes this drama and actually really enjoy how this is progressing.
No, not at all. there are some very negative people on here, and they are not paying very close attention to what's actually going on in the drama, which is annoying :(
Iove this little drama a lot - so sweet and very fairy-tale in quality :D All the main characters intrigue me :D The little cat/tiger girl is adorable :D It's following the webtoon, it seems. I had no real preference for who the hubby was at first, but now since it's obvious, I'm of course rooting for her to STAY with the father of her children, LOL
Actually at first I was shipping little cat girl and Kim Kim but that would be wrong LOL

He's very far from being a weakling. In fact, the real weakling is the Professor.
On Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter Dec 18, 2018
Why so many people see Kim Geum as negative baffles me. He's a sweet, genuinely nice guy - NOT a 'weakling' nor a 'crybaby' at all - he always is thinking of others while the professor is self-centered and not paying attention to anyone else.
This love triangle started out, in the heavenly realms, as our red girl liking the Seo Ji Hoon divinity, while he liked the fairy. Two girls and one guy, in other words LOL LOL
HE is the father of both the cat girl and the little boy in the egg :d
I love all three characters for different reasons, and think all of them are doing great!

I'm sick of this Geum, as well of the non definition of this drama. For me is Jung. I don't care what nobody says.
Well, I find the chemistry pretty evenly balanced, but of course that's entirely subjective.
I found the chemistry between JCW & that female 'evil stepmother' electric in The K2, but I sure didn't ship them together.
Annoying as the female professor can be, I rather wish SHE ends up with our professor...
Who knows.

You know, I see that you haven't a clue what 'troll' means in internet terms. I disagree with many of the opinions here, and I do find a certain lack of critical thinking skills evident. This obviously ANNOYS some posters, but it certainly isn't the definition of a troll LOL

Fact (as far as this drama is showing us, and certainly the webtoon): The professor is an incarnation of the red fairy, who most certainly did kill the woodcutter, who has now reincarnated as Kim Geum.
This is not an opinion. Do you understand that?
I find it disturbing in any fiction, even light ones such as these, when people root for the evil characters.
Now the professor isn't evil per se, he's on a redemption arc, and that's wonderful. But I certainly don't ship him with the fairy.
Peace and Goddess bless you!

I am merely pointing out that shipping the professor with the fairy is shipping her with her husband's murderer. How that's rude I fail to see. If done knowingly it's a bit sick in my opinion. But I'm not being rude.

Amane-Mise - Okay, he did NOT 'kill' anyone! He was playing a video game in virtual reality. He had literally NO idea that anything had happened to this guy. How ridiculous!
Also, yes he's feeling all sorts of remorse and sadness that the guy died and did so because of some weird glitch in the game. He's obviously blaming himself.
So your comment really doesn't make much logical sense.

I'm a bit confused here - I was confused when Roo Da accused Jun Ho of keeping that from her. He had just found out himself.
Him telling Roo Da got HER killed, BTW....

I'm a lit major - taught English for a few years, and write stories. Yes I do take such things seriously. This idea you put out that somehow stories 'don't count' because they are made up, is frankly not true. Stories DO matter. Making a hero out of characters that are in fact not that admirable can shape the way people think. Also, literature can be used to tackle real-life problems - Charles Dickens' extremely popular stories (which were featured as serial dramas in magazines when first published, and not taken as 'serious literature') helped fire the public in England to pass laws against child labor. Sinclair Lewis' The Jungle caused the US to create the USDA.
Now this little drama is not that serious at all, but still, rooting for a person who KILLED the husband this fairy is looking for - that's a bit sick and I do not think that's taking anything too far. That happens to be MY holy not to be touched or criticized or judged OPINION. It goes both ways, you see.

Wtf how come this 8.5 when the last empress is 7.5. all this cliche shit.
As someone else pointed out, this drama is turning the cliches on their head. But it's a romcom, and it sounds like you don't like them - none of those other dramas are romcoms.

I don't agree with 2 of your statements: 1, he's not always doubting her or putting her on the spot - I think he did that once, half-heartedly (realistically) - the one who's put her on the spot the most is Mr. Baek. 2. He's doing his damn BEST to believe her, despite the total insanity of what she's saying. I'm sorry, do find me that person who unreservedly and wholeheartedly without reservation believes YOU when you say you are in a time-loop with some other person. Go ahead. Yeah. So his hesitation is entirely understandable and acceptable.
Now, I agree the writers have been hesitant here - several reasons they could be doing that, I suppose, but I'm not a fan. These two ARE the end-game in the original and for those of us who've read the web-toon, of course - we expect it. Now I do think we've been shown Roo Da just not really believing Jun Ho is serious quite a bit - and then she tells Mr. Baek that she likes someone else, which totally gave her own feelings (for Jun Ho) away. That was the end point, there, for me - she says she like Jun Ho - and she finally decides Jun Ho means it when he tells her he likes her.
No one in this drama has had much character development except Baek - which is I think why that actor took the role in the first place! He's killing it and I love him and the character. I just don't have any need for a love story for him. The fact that Roo Da is doing this and rooting for him while being in love with somebody else is a great way to show different kinds of human relationships.
I think, tho, that Jun Ho is having some character development now, which is nice to see.

Seen all of them. Thought all of them excellent. Seen the British and American versions of Life on Mars (so much for 'originality'
I've got several higher degrees in literature and I taught English lit, which means I've studied this and have a lot of knowledge on the subject (ie this is what is known as substantiated my qualifications, rather than bragging). It's a fact, not my opinion, that there are only a few basic story plots in the world. Try reading my post again. It is the language used, the variations of old plots and themes, plus individual character construction and development, that bring originality to story telling. Fact. Go ask your lit teachers.
