This kid is sweet, a bit immature, and is figuring out what he wants to do for himself rather than let his grandfather dictate to him. Only a few think like that - the very young, the emotionally immature. I can't imagine hating on an actress just because she got to be one of my fav's female lead! I might be disappointed if the female (or even 2nd male lead) wasn't good, and would be upset if they brought the drama down. I've never seen PSH do that - she has, let's say, not necessarily shown brightly in all her dramas, but she's always carried her part as needed.

I expect you are correct, but I've never understood that. Now, I usually don't much care who the female lead is unless they are so horrible they drag the production down (which is rare indeed) - I WILL watch dramas purely for the male lead. I do have favorite actresses, tho, and when one of them is paired up with a fav actor that's so cool! I rather like PSH - and I'm happy to see her with Hyun Bin.
