Even if you think I'm not as intelligent as you, why does that mean you're allowed to be rude to me? Why can't you argue your point in a respectful way?

yeah, no. a show doesn't need to explain to you what a character is thinking in every single scene. you're meant to infer it from their actions. a good actor is someone who can convey their character's psychological state so that the audience understands without needing to be spoonfed
Perfect! the right amount of...everything!!! I do have a question though; the ending. At first I thought it was…
lol no, the novel makes it clear that he recovers and they go on vacation together to the beach. but I don't blame you for misreading it; the show really glosses over the ending
that was interesting. i'm a little sad that it's over, i'll definitely miss their chemistry.what i won't miss…
they clearly were working with a limited budget here, and I think they did the best with what they had. Hopefully now that this was so successful, they'll continue to get offered shows with bigger production budgets which means more episodes and better sets.
Ngl, it does have a bit of a trashy wattpad fic feel to it, but it is entertaining to a degree (if they start…
yeah, I agree. I'd love to see them in something a bit more serious, a bit less trashy. This is fun though. Also, your review totally made me watch My Stubborn, which I binged in a day flat. So thank you for your service 😂
I couldn't agree more with this, the NC scene was beautifully made and had me totally shocked. They both did an…
yes, they're 100% covered the whole time. they use a garment that covers their genitals and is padded so it acts like a barrier to reduce contact. You can find intimacy coordinators on tiktok who show you.
Wait a second... i might get now why it is not working. So imagine Tae is worried sick for several hours, calling…
Chaeha coming to Taeseon's house is a really big deal in the novel. It completely changes the dynamic of their relationship because it's the first time they ever get physical, starting with their first kiss. It also marks the beginning of their cnc relationship, which is a major plot point in the novel. That's why Taeseon asks him if he's sure, and why Chaeha lingers on the doorstep. Going into the house means agreeing to a dom/sub relationship, which he doesn't really want but that's all Taeseon is willing to offer so he takes it.
Unfortunately, the show changed the timeline of their relationship so this scene no longer makes sense as is. They've already kissed and had sex, so the hesitation feels unnecessary, even if it's so beautifully shot.
I guess she’s recalibrating. all the reasons she didn’t choose the others are still there.
That's how I interpreted the bedroom scene. He's letting her know that he's not someone who'll let her walk away when she wants. She's trying to reestablish her ground and show that she's not going to be intimidated by his power. They're still choosing each other, they just need to renegotiate the terms. 😄
You can see she really didnt want to break off the marriage; she is just angry that she was fully decieved by…
yeah, exactly. she's just taking time to adjust to this new information but her mind (her heart?) is already set, whether she's ready to admit it or not...
I find Xihe so intriguing. She's ruthless, decisive, and a great judge of character. And yet, the only step she's taken so far towards cancelling the engagement is asking CP for his consent, knowing that he'll neverrrr give it.
She could go to the Emperor today and get him to break the engagement, she could go to another prince and get him to agree to marry her on the spot. But she's just 'trying' to convince CP, suggesting that she doesn't really want to break it and she knows she'll come around. He's just in the dog house temporarily.
all the comments saying FL is indifferent/doesn't care makes me think people don't understand subtext because she cares a lot, even if she won't allow herself to admit it...
