You’re not alone. I found it rather disturbing. FL was one of the most selfish, but the writers wanted her to be loveable! Nothing lovable about lying to your kid for over a decade and ignoring her feelings and hiding a child away from her father. It’s actually quite disturbing. The guy wasn’t abusive, dangerous or a threat in any way but she got in her feelings, disappeared and hurt/betrayed two people.
