I understand your point. I think for a person who has little knowledge of these things including ethics, it would be an easy watch but from a professional standpoint your brain is trained for the codes and other professional standards. Watching it is like part of aquiz. After watching you’re asked to write all the things that went wrong. Pencil up and Gooooo! Lol
I might sound weird for saying this but this is not romantic. I find the female leads character unlikeable. Yes she’s smart but she is cold and self centered. This whole time we could feel the ML affection but her “ we get mechanics”. Like a light switch. Sweet one minute and then indifferent the next. She never once showed she cared for the ML struggles, just what she been through.
How wrong is the synopsis compared to the actual story? I am still deciding if I am going to watch it or not.
“Fictitious wife” “origin” etc. It is most certainly a comedy. A girl entered the home as a cook as a favor for her relative, who is a maid in the home. They needed a cook so the maid offered a different relative but she soon discovered the person wasn’t available. Alas instead of telling them, she brings in a different person to pretend to be the other person.. She pretends to be the other person who is also unknown to the family so it’s really irrelevant. In terms of fictitious wife, she was not his wife in any sense, neither pretend, fake or anything else. She was more like a maid in the house. She was never treated as a wife in any sense, she never pretended to be a wife, the man nor family treated her as such. She coincidentally met him before entering the home and is aware of a not so big deal secret but of course they use that to make the story. I warn you, this has ridiculous females bickering over the ML in such as comical way but he doesn’t seem to really care about either.
I have to admit. I felt like dropping this one. Once I got to ep 13-14, the tone changed. At first it gave off the naive/ignorant vibe for the ML, mixed with the other characters. Then the whole supposedly humor/silly acts and goofy sound effects made me want to drop it. I’m not a fan of supremely dopey/clueless characters. I’m glad to say the dopey vibe has left the scene and aside from one character, everyone else is pretty focused and serious.
Enjoyed it but if I had to be completely honest the FL got on my nerves a bit. In what world do you criticized, talk down on, yell and argue with someone that pays you. She would have been fired before she started.
After reading all the comments, I am glad to see that it wasn’t me that simply become picky or a critic. Kind of scared for a moment. I like the female lead and most of the movies she’s in but this one is definitely different. Although I like studying the human mind, watching it is like peeking in on back to back counseling sessions with a twinge of psycho on the side.
It started out good but hit a snag aka drag around episode 30. From my standpoint they should have kept the relationship going. At least that added to the thrill of lovers being honest competitors but nooo they had to throw a wrench in it and so the story started for the trench…..
I honestly felt bad for the second male lead. He was truly raised as a jerk but his heart was so sincere for his wife so watching him suffer was pretty cruel
I feel like this had so much potential but it just didn’t take off. Am I the only one that’s trying to figure out when the FL gets pregnant. This dude slept on the floor the whole time and could barely hold her hand but we had this pregnancy out of the blue. Not a rewatch for me.
