Give me my time back

I should have known from episode 1 that this series was not for me. I love fairy tales, happily ever afters, empowering, concrete endings and etc but I can also enjoy a decent bitter sweet series but this one was one of the worst experiences for me in the supposed romantic genre. In all fairness, just because the word love is in the title should not grant automatic permission to be placed in the romance genre. Whew!!! This was a depressing toxic mess.

We have a male and female lead who clearly like each other but they never get together. Why? The FL got issues…….
Just because she’s calm and quiet doesn’t redeem her at all.

ML like female lead, very evident. She goes through great lengths to push him away, only to slightly give hope again. So what you’ll view is a man in love with a woman getting disregarded, then given hope, then being hurt and pushed away. No dating. Just a guy falling in love with someone who got emotional issues. Never really getting accepted.

From the female standpoint she didn’t do anything g wrong by not being with a guy.

From a viewers standpoint we watch a sincere mans ‘ affections get trampled. The end.

There’s no healthy love here. There’s no dating. This is one of those experiences someone has gone through that you remember but it’s certainly not something you’d want to watch.

Perfect

There are so many reasons to watch this series. First, it was absolutely amazing. Secondly, the choreography in this series was so well done, even the average person that doesn’t pay attention will notice it all. It’s just that good. Third, the fight scenes are awesome. You will most certainly rewind it to watch it again, they are so detail and acted out perfectly. It almost flawless. 4 the, the plot was great. It was unique and interesting with a good pace. 5th, the music complimented the series so well. This is not an exaggeration. Just watch a fight she and see how the music adds to it almost like a hype man.
Although this is deemed a fantasy series it still manages to speak real truths.
Series revolves around an two powerful people who each have positions in their own territory. It shows how they meet, fall in love and the trials they face to stay together, survive and to protect each other. You’ll get sacrifice of the purest kind here.

What a like most is that it focuses on love, fate, loyalty, brotherhood and so much more. Being a romantic drama mixed with fantasy is also a plus.

Epic part 3. Started watching this series over the summer and I must admit that it is so amazing. The action keeps you pumped. The fight scenes are top notch. Love it. I’m just too curious as to where this is going. Overall, very entertaining. I like how the character are finding their way and developing into who they were destined to be. You will not be disappointed. If I had known how good it was I would have waited until the series is done. I hate the cliffhangers, but still love the series.

The situations you’ll encounter within the series are really eye openers. It will have you thinking about what important in life. I will admit that this is a burner for sure. I warn you all, this is not a romantic drama. This is a drama with tragedy and sad stuff with a hint of love. Don’t be fooled. It’s not bad but it’s not sweet either. This drama surrounds a man that went through hardship as a child and a women who suffered as well. You will also see a lot of their families and the role they played in how they are today. It’s a very sentimental series with a hint of warmth. This was not a great love story. It was so sad. Very few if any upbeat moments.

This is my honest review of this series that could have been.....

I started watching this series after many episodes had aired because I noticed there was a total of 100 episodes in the series. I believe that the plot is good and the casting is great however the level of drama in this series is so extreme that it is annoying and frustrating. At first I was really liking it and could really get into it. There was the typical drama and crazy people but I was hopeful that eventually they’ll get better but after 75 episodes of the 100 my hope is now gone. The evil characters are not only evil, they’re ridiculous, inhumane and without common sense. It could have been great but for me the drama overload killed it. I am aware that the series is about one man’s past and his daughters future and how they are connected but How they chose to script that plot is so sour it hard to bare.
imagine someone having a hard life their entire life. That is bad enough. Now let’s imagine we add drama to someone’s already miserable life. Watching several episodes is like watching the downfall of somebody that’s already on the ground.
Imagine that person being run over by a car then someone helping them up. After the person is on their feet they walk 4 feet and get robbed of all their valuables. This same person will walk five more feet and falls into a well. The misery never ends. Now let’s say that person is a humble mouse without a backbone who is verbally and emotionally abused. Dear goodness. I liked the main couple however I really wish that the writers would’ve did a better job with this. The plot is good but there is absolutely no balance to this series. It is 100% drama, no romance, and no family bonding, no Mystery. Just pure unadulterated mess. Its like jerry springer meets Maury.

We’ve all seen the kdrama with the crazy in-laws, add that in too and they are extremely annoying. It’s as if their characters are psychotic teens. Yes, that level.

Please save yourself. Don’t watch it unless you are a lover of drama overload. I’m trapped now. It’s like a train wreck and I can’t look away. I’ve invested in it and and still hope for damage control.

There is zero happy moments, hundreds of grief moments and a few warm moments after 75 episodes.

I read many reviews about this series in various places, Many of them stated that the series was awful or poorly written. I decided to give it a chance anyway and I am absolutely glad I did. I will start out by saying that if you start the series expecting a traditional romance series you will be very disappointed. This series embodies science, drama, romance at at times fantasy like elements. You will see two people frozen over a period of time and how they attempt to navigate life and/or survive. The first few episodes switch back and forth past and present but after that it’s all present tense. Although it’s not a traditional romance series it does display various levels of love, romance and commitment. You get to experience or at least see the others experience the disappointment, greed and sacrifice that many other cast members made.

To summarize; this series is about two people that were frozen for a certain amount of time and came out much later than they expected. They face challenges and disappointment all along the way but they also have an opportunity to find love and heal as well. I am only on episode 10 so far however I really like this series and I’m excited to see how it ends.

I don’t think we should call this series love at all, more like deepest regret

I have one word for the series and that is predictable. I’m going to assume that this was a mellow drama because that’s what it felt like as I was watching it. I honestly thought that it was going to be good based on the first episode because the FL character was spunky and she showed how daring she was. That kept me thinking that it was going to be great but after that one event it just went downhill from there. Her character was one that was prayed on portrayed is troubled, sad and and borderline depressed. She did not smile at all throughout the series she just walked around doing things with this sad look on her face. Her tone of voice is never changed she was completely boring. Then we get to the plot itself which should not have been but it was. Do not read below if you do not want to spoiler.

I did not like the plot. It was absolutely predictable by episode two. Females leads dad runs off with the male leads mother when she was in high school. When the dad dies the stepmom takes their property. She then approaches the step mom son with the intent to do something. That was never revealed. Instead she got close to him as an employee and developed mutual feelings for him of some kind which never really went anywhere. He eventually realized who she was and they went their separate ways. It was no major character growth it was just one ridiculously sad series. What made it worse was that the male lead also had some troubles but he was trying. So in the end we had two leads who rarely smiled and never had a real relationship. I can honestly say I don’t know what the point or the plot was.

Good series. Great story line, great acting. The series touches areas that aren’t often talked about. Although it had some good qualities I honestly felt that it fell short of character development and story completion. It was some anticlimactic. I was waiting for this powerful speech or major comeback but it just died. The series ended on a note of failure/defeat for our leads with a last moment smile”. You know the kind were you’ve been living for a while and finally tell the truth, a few people are irritated and hate you, you say sorry and then THE END. Nothing more to add. No redemption, no closure. Just bye bye.

Gave it seven stars because it had so much potential to deliver a great message and strength.

The series starts out OK. You get the vibe of the bad guy and the good guy. You will also begin to love the good guy because of his sense of family, duty and loyalty. However all of that takes a turn for the worse and becomes a pitiful and unpleasant thing to watch

I can understand the rating. Although the show was not awful it was a little bit depressing. I honestly could not power through the entire thing because it was just too much of the underdog staying the underdog. Please be mindful of the spoiler below;

imagine loving someone and that person being taken from your superior and you have no power to do anything about it so you just continue to subject yourself to being obedient to your superior and continuing to love a woman who is honestly given up on you and now loves a superior. It was just too pitiful. No redemption for the good guy just left out there. Can’t recommend this

The sad thing about this is that one of male lead in the series is also very popular in another series for taking someone else’s woman. It seems like those are his roles now, but here it is just not cool at all nor is it entertaining.

Just sort of okay

Episode 1 was good. I thought it was interesting and felt that the story line was captivating enough. I even had a little laugh. Episode 2 started out okay but then I was thinking, what’s the point here, what in the world is actually going on. Episode 3 had me confused and doubting whether or not I wanted to continue. The events seemed somewhat random, I had no idea who the male lead is and even though I knew why things happened in episode 1, there seemed to be no hint as to why anyone was doing anything.

It picks up again around episode six but I feel that it also becomes a bit repetitive. Bad things happen, the blame the supposed bad guy without hearing, seeing or knowing a thing. The interaction between the leads got a littler better around episode 20 however our leading lady somewhat continues to be a bit difficult. Around episode 32 there was some growth on her character from 33 to 36. I really enjoy those episodes.

I watched it from beginning to end and I found it enjoyable. If you’re looking for a lighthearted comedy, this one is worth the watch. If you’re looking for some romantic components, you’ll get multiple here. You’ll also get some action and some pretty interesting fighting moments. If you’re looking for something swoon worthy, you might not get a lot of it here but you’ll get some sweet moments. The ending was pleasant and I have nothing to complain about.

But I like most about the series with that it was lighthearted and it provided some pretty insightful relationship conversations. There were no crazy relatives and no overly ridiculous characters. In addition to that they were not low triangles which made it all the better for me. The progression moved at a really good pace. There was a good amount of humor, mystery and explanation amount of sweet moments between the main characters as well as the supporting cast. I also enjoy the fact that they’re supporting cast were able to get closure and good endings. I was able to laugh at some moments and he it wasn’t completely predictable, well a little but not completely. I enjoy the fact that the female lead was driven and hard-working and she was also very smart.

I definitely feel like it provided a good amount of entertainment. I also really liked the supporting cast. I enjoyed the funny elements of it, the sweet moments as well as the bits of action that took place. There were lots of teaching moments that were very relevant. They were really enjoyable. What I did not care for so much was the fact that the female lead was somewhat abusive. Yes I know many people will disagree with me or may even find the actions cute. I did not. I’m just being honest. As a female I will be honest and say I didn’t find it cute. I can honestly say that if the roles were reversed and the male was being aggressive toward the female lead like that I wouldn’t like that either. Aside from her being domineering and bits of aggressiveness towards the male lead I found it enjoyable. Sorry not sorry. I’m just not OK with people hitting people simply because they don’t agree.

Little Gem

Short and sweet. This was a mini series with very short episodes but it was really amazing. There were some scenes that I watched several times because it was just that funny. It is honestly a really cute and sweet series. There are a few heartfelt moments within it with tons of laughs. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for something short and sweet to watch especially if you’re in need of a good laugh. It was that good.

I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for something short and sweet to watch. You’re most certainly smile, swoon and laugh at the same time.

I really want to begin this review on a positive note because I enjoyed the overall concept or plot of this series. I especially loved the last episodes. It’s somewhat hard to review this series without telling you too much or revealing the plot but I will be honest. I did not enjoy many of the episodes and felt that the behavior of the cast members was either exaggerated or unrealistic. I know it may be unfair to say so but I’ve watched many series that have female leads as a snob or difficult person but in in reality they’re really nice but this one was different, it seemed forced and it just not great.

Our leads consistently did things that normal adults would not do and that’s why I didn’t rate it higher than seven. For example someone is engaged and now has a fiancé. The old flame who is supposed to be a good person and mature consistently lingers around the person that has already committed to be with someone else but is also giving them attention. It gives the sense that she is either dull or has no common sense. I will say about the same about the male lead being in a relationship with someone but hanging around someone else. Although innocent, normal people just don’t do things like this at this age. I did not like the overall series not because of the plot but the acting/script but I don’t like to quit things once I started.

to avoid the torture that I went through I would recommend anyone watching to watch episode one through five and then skip to episode 12 or 15, the fakeness, superiority complex and forced snubness and weird naivety somewhat diminishes. It makes it a lot more bearable. I will admit that after episode 12 or 15 the series someone takes a different turn and it gets a little more interesting although our characters still portrayed those unrealistic behaviors.

Okay

First thing I want to say is yes we have two very popular leads. An amazing male either most of us love and will watch whatever these in because it’s him. The female lead has her talent as well but her variance in acting and personality pale compared to our male lead. However in this series both of them are exactly the same. The series is a melo drama which I didn’t expect. So I guess it’s my fault for not reading the synopsis.

The good: The scenery is great. The history of cast members is so captivating and it shows an innocent love and also shows how deep and sincere it was. There is not A significant amount of wicked people or extremely crazy people which is quite refreshing. The story is very unique and then it really makes you wonder what you would do if you were in that situation. Not only that, the situation that the leads are in is very complicated.

The bad: it really seems too slow, somewhat uneventful and sad. There were very few if any upbeat moments which leaves you with this sort of melancholy feeling. I think that when they smiled there was a slow piano tune being played while they speak in the background. You may get a scene or two where there may be joy but that is very very few and far in between. Slow-yes, sweet-only the past, romantic- only the past
Chemistry- the past.

I really wanted to like this. For the most part it’s decent. I just really did not expect it to be so slow. Although the two leads are great actors and actresses, I feel like their chemistry is just not there. I really expected a little more from these but this all seems to sum up to nothing. Most of the stuff is flash backs.

This series is for the mature audience. That’s not to say that it has graphic scenes or anything gory it’s just one of those slow and steady sentimental romance series. This series revolves around the past and the present. You will see a lot of flashbacks from our two leads in the past and their time together and then it will switch to the present. The past was soft, subtle and cute and the present was just as warm. Of course there is the conflict that makes things difficult but as always it pans out. I am pleased with the ending. I was a bit nervous because it really did seem like one of those really slow pace melodramatic romance series that has a bad ending but they gave a gratifying one considering the tone and the pace of the series. This is not a romantic comedy. This is not an upbeat series. This is not one of those witty plotting dramas either although there is some plotting and manipulation. It the piano playing in the background type of romance. Everything is done eloquently. You’ll get a kiss or peck in about 2 of the episodes.

Short, sweet and exciting. The series is one that focuses tai chi and those who are descendants of the clans along with their rivals.
The series starts out somewhat upbeat and seems to maintain its consistency throughout. It revolves around the martial arts community. Are two main leads are a female who has been taught a martial arts outside of a particular client in the male lead who appears to be a descendent of the clan. Without revealing too much about series The series starts out somewhat upbeat and seems to maintain its consistency throughout. It revolves around the martial arts community. Our two main leads are a female who has been taught a martial arts outside of a particular clan in the male lead who appears to be a descendent of the clan. Without revealing too much about the series I wouldI will say that a form of a relationship develops and they both begin to grow.
The fights in this series are amazing. One scene I watched at least 4 times. The community dynamic is so so. There are some bonds, betrayal, secrets and twist. Overall it was worth it to watch. Although the series has been categorized as youth/school, the martial arts piece is superb. If you’re looking for a martial art series to watch I would recommend this. It doesn’t go in-depth in terms of showing teaching concepts but you get to see some cool things.
What I didn’t like about this it was that the male lead seem to only have one facial expression and he just appeared really rigid, almost like a computer. He was skilled but he just didn’t appear relaxed in any scene.
