Nothing original. It was nice, sweet and funny at times. Time travel series with minimal drama. There is a bit of internal struggle but not to over the top. The main leads have a pretty decent chemistry. There’s a plot twist that is a little touching and heartwarming.

Series revolves around a ml that can time travel and the fl who he realizes shares a connecting. The relationships was not immediate but it does seems to move a little fast. No crazy in-laws. One greedy cast member and plotting. The rest is somewhat of a mystery. Things do get solved but not all questions are answered. Pleasant ending.

Fun, sweet and very endearing. A female lead who is devoted to her career often forgets about the feelings of this around her. There were moments when I laughed so hard and moments when I my eyes felt like leaking. I enjoyed it because it open the door into how people are often misunderstood in relationships as well as how so many don’t understand. Not being empathetic or feeling connected to someone can often appear uncaring but it’s actually the opposite. It’s a good watch. Not to much action but enough to entertain

It is very rare that I write a review of a series before it has completed but I feel compelled to do so because of some of the mixed feelings that I have as well as a lot of the comments that I view regularly while I am watching this series. I have watched 25 of the episodes.

I believe that the series is well written and that the acting, wardrobe as well as the scenery and graphics are amazing. I really love the concept of two individuals from what is supposedly the opposite side of the tracks developing a genuine love, sincerity or friendship for one another. I have not been a huge fan of the ML in the past because of one of the series that I watched him in and I just felt like his character was just like too much for me, so I was hesitant to watch this but I have developed a new found love for the ML because he has really shown great acting skills throughout this series.

What I like most about the series is that the ML has really portrayed his character well in every aspect, the good side, the bad side, the protective side, the caring side, the daring as well as bold and fearless. He has really portrayed them all really well. I am also a huge fan of fantasy historical dramas, so this really plays into the genre that I gravitate to. There’s some excellent fighting/power scenes that will make you really want to rewind it and watch it again and there are some heartbreaking scenes in which you see how some of the individuals background and hardships that they went through. I think that they did a really great job giving us a full view of who the male lead was. I really enjoyed watching his scenes and learning about who he was and why he is the way his to who he is right now. It’s amazing.

What I did not like about this series unfortunately was the female leads character. I know many people will disagree but it’s my opinion right. I feel that the writers gave her too many annoying habits/traits that were hard to digest together.
Writers have taken that naïve and innocent character way too far and it teeters on the line of sheer stupidity. I honestly did not like it.
#1The female characters voice sounded like a eight or nine-year-old the entire time. If it was just that I would’ve been able to tolerate it a little better.
#2 they also made her character really naïve and at times completely clueless, borderline stupid. I just don’t think that crap is cute. And I don’t mean the naïve kind like Ji Mi from ashes of love, I mean this was another level.
#3 her character was one that seem to completely be infatuated with the 2ML because he saved her. Because of this she seems to lose all sense of reason.
#4 she constantly got into things that made it appear that she had no survival instinct at all. Who goes to reason with someone that was just trying to kill you and had you tied up.
#5 because of all of these it made it really hard for me to view her and the ML in a more romantic relationship because her character just seems like someone that was 12 years old, unrealistic and that quite honestly needed to be supervised because she’s clueless. She is absolutely cute but those looks can only take you so far.

The action in the series is really good. There are not a significant amount of side relationships throughout the series but there are a few that have significance to the story. In the beginning there’s a lot of screen time but as we got to the middle it kind of dwindled and then they just popped up again. Up to episode 25 the FL is still not gelling well with the ML. She is not sincere, or honest towards him. But she is able to see that he is a person other than what others portray him to be. No budding relationships just yet but the chemistry is okay.

I was really excited to watch this series. After several months I realized that there was no end in sight for the subtitles to be completed. I took a chance and started watching the series on various sites and managed to get several episodes translated. I repeat I was super excited about the series but I am completely disappointed. If you’re into romantic series with great chemistry this is not it. If you are into lost loves, unrequited love and that odd guy out staring at the girl that he love that he could never have this is it.

The acting was great, the wardrobe was good and the scenery was pretty nice as well. I will not rewatch this even with subtitles. The beginning of the series started off fun, exciting and cute. This added with the two main leads will really get you hooked, unfortunately after episode seven or eight it goes downhill. The preview and the beginning credits scenes with leads you to believe that it is the romantic and loving series, to me it was the complete opposite. She does not end up with the person that she originally liked and it was her choice with no explanation. In the beginning of the series she was a smart, fearless, and an independent person, but by episode nine she seems to lose her wits by sacrificing herself for people that she did not know and giving up someone that she loved for nothing.

Spoiler summary***the story is about a lost princess who finds her way back home and is sent out as a bargaining chip to unite two countries. The princess meets the male lead in the beginning of the series and they really hit it off unfortunately she is sent to marry his brother and goes through with it even after she is somewhat rejected. This somewhat turned me off because she liked the brother and he liked her but she forced her way into the palace to marry the Emperor. To me it made no sense because she wasn’t a greedy person and there was nothing for her to gain. Half of this series covers her entering the palace and struggling to survive all while still caring for the main brother she rejected. It appears that she ended up falling for a guy that she married which is not quite satisfying for the viewers since the two main leads clearly loved each other and had such great chemistry. It would’ve helped if one does like the other but they clearly both liked each other. I’m not a fan of self-inflicted suffering or stupidity and I’m sad to say that this one fell right into that category.

Missed opportunity

I was so hopeful but I can’t say I loved this one and I’m a fan of both of the leads. I like the idea of a smart career woman being dedicated and good at what she does. I love a man that follows his path as well. That being said our two leads were academically and business smart but had the social/relationship competency of 12 year olds (not cute or entertaining).

The cons: misunderstandings lasted until episode 31; direct communication was very poor, they talked more in their head than directly to each other. They texted more than they talked. I’ve never seen so much screen time on screen. It lasted until the end. The relationship remained undefined for so long and then when it was, it was a break in it.
I ML was suppose to be domineering business man but it didn’t seem to fit or maybe it was just that he never lightens up. Usually you see a change, it kept it going.

I so wonder what it would have been like, it they spoke a quarter of their internal thoughts that the viewers heard. It could have made it much better.

I can accept a misunderstanding but I hate when it’s dragged out and poor communication. Although we’d all love a smooth sailing romance, I don’t think I could say there were any swoon worthy moments. I think I got whiplash.

Unexpected and definitely controversial

Good drama but sad. Series revolves around a man who discovers that he is a father after the loss of the child’s mother. It is somewhat realistic in the sense of the effort that individuals have to go through to connect with people that they are not accustomed to. It also showed a very, impressive and positive method of integration into another person’s life. I feel that the maternal grandparents did a really good job with helping him get comfortable and knowing and understanding his daughter. They were very patient with him.

A story of secrets, reunions and bonding but also one of the struggles of women, men, single parents and societal norms.

Now my rant*******I hate how the ML was looked down upon. The FL clearly knew who she was dating, and the type of personality he had. He was clearly shy and introverted, but appeared very caring. The birthmother clearly had a stronger personality and made him sign a paper for a procedure, Then later says she didn’t want to keep surrendering to him or some mess, then he gets blamed for everything without even knowing what was actually happening. It was all hid from him. She never gave him a choice or asked him how he felt, she just said sign. With his submissive personality he was still hesitant and she dismissed him and ran off.

Even though he was talking about his ex with his current girlfriend, everyone appears to forget that he was also grieving. the fact that she suffered alone made him feel guilty. The fact that he signed the paper made him feel guilty. The fact that he had a child that didn’t know him scared him. But I guess because it’s addresses female things it’s the guys fault.

This woman made a choice to give birth secretly and not tell the father. Tragedy strikes, and everything falls on him. Not only is he an instant parent, but he carries a burden of guilt. I don’t blame the girlfriend for ending it but this also speaks about her, just like there are men that walk away from women that have children, they are women that walk away from men that have children.

I definitely would’ve enjoyed it this more if I felt that it was fair toward the ML. Although it wasn’t fair, I have to say it is probably realistic to what many deal with today. Women feeling that they have no choice but to abort but also mean feeling that they have no choice but to, accept their decision. This goes both ways both men and women’s hands feel tight and situations like this. I just wish more attention would be given to the male side in this.

And yes, I am a female.

A Gem

Reporter and fireman worlds collide for a sweet heartfelt romance. Not flashy. Not over the top. More like that love that can break down walls type. This series was truly amazing. I have seen mini series with both of the leads in it and they were different genres, but they were enjoyable. I believe that this is by far one of the best series that I have seen these two in. They’re acting was amazing, realistic, and it just felt really genuine. What I really enjoyed about this series was that there was no ridiculous love triangle, or supremely immature cast. Our FL was a little younger but she was very mature. Her pursuit of her love interests was refreshing. She was bold, confident and professional while also being innocently cute when it came to her love. There was no immature characters in this drama. Although it was somewhat slow paced in some ways, it was still relatively upbeat. The parts that were somewhat slow were during the intimate communication, but It was so sweet and heartfelt that it was really hard not to wanna catch every moment. I didn’t feel the need to fast forward this. The supporting cast were just as good as the lead, and they brought their own vibe to this series is well. You will absolutely get attached to the main leads as well as the supporting her. I know it sounds hard to be, but you’ll become invested in the supporting characters too. You have firefighters, rescue workers come together in this down to earth romance. Loved it.

This was an exceptional series. I loved the build up. The acting was amazing. The crying scenes made me want to cry too.

Series was about a woman who encountered hardship and how she moved forward to rebuild her life. Of course we have our ML who comes into play. His character had a friendly and bubbly personality that could most, likely get along with anyone but he was also one that wanted independence. These two came together and t was sincerely sweet and heartfelt.

The chemistry between the leads showed up heavily. I would like to say that karma as well, but it more like reality than regret. It was still very good.

Interesting

First, I love the mystery components of the series. It played out well.
Series revolves around a woman and her husband. She married him without knowing he was a man that wanted a model wife, and that he was manipulative.

On another note, it’s definitely exaggerated. From what I saw he didn’t actually commit a crime other than a fake attack. Why they called the police is beyond me. The series want us to assume that a man that wanted a woman who had more and was more wife material, is criminal. He didn’t appear to be a gold digger. He did however show controlling and manipulative habits (still not a crime). He dumped a woman b/c he thought he found something better. She didn’t take it well. Still not a crime. Maybe he was serial dater. Didn’t see that either! Women have done what he did but no one call in the police troops.

I did find the way that the woman was easily manipulated into obedience interesting. I believe that it fits into how things happen to some people in real life.

Needless to say, I don’t get it. It was interesting to watch though 🤷🏽‍♀️

Sweet

This was unexpectedly delightful. I honestly believe it was well written. The pace was very slow but there were god elements. It gave a nostalgic vibe.

Synopsis was pretty accurate. I loved how it portrayed the ML first innocent love and how he grew into a man and really recognized what he needed and wanted. Not a big fan of the family but there were not the worst I’ve seen. It wa s realistic and understandable. If you’re into the hometown vibe you’ll enjoy it. What I enjoyed most was how ML started at the bottom and worked his way up to a successful person. The friendships were a bit suspect but it was okay. What I disliked what the secret that seemed to go on forever. Later in the series you don’t see the main couple as much which was a total let down.

Overall good series.

Unique

As much as I wanted to love this, the writers were just to convincing, lol. I struggle to watch or endure anyone extremely greedy or selfish and the writers did a good job up front showing how money and possession can cause people to reveal how they really feel.

Overall series was pretty good. It was a bit slow paced but still nice. In summary, the series is about a sibling group who somehow manages to lose their father and stability overnight. Contrary to many drama with this starter, this on too, a different turn. The female lead didn’t walk about helpless, begging or waiting for a miracle she put her mind on surviving and got to work. She want extremely prideful but tried to have a sense of pride about herself. Loved that element. What you Lear from her character is how to push through, how to let others help, how to adapt and love. Very unique.

On the other side of this spectrum we have the have nots who suddenly grasp everything they didn’t have before. Their greed grew and it turn ugly.

The series reveals the good and the bad.

This series was strictly medical. Every episode had an extreme medical case and on some/most occasions you’ll get a sad story with it. Some outrageous stuff, some heartfelt stuff. I must say I’m not a fan of this one but if your into medical stuff, you’ll like it although it wasn’t varied.

On another note, whoever tagged this romance was stretching very far. There were no real doctor couples, no romance only an interest and it took 39 episodes and that seemed to last 30 seconds.

I would recommend this to anyone who likes medical dramas but don’t go into this hoping for romance or dating of any kind. It’s not there.

WORTH THE WATCH! Umbrella=Genuine Covering w/ love

I was reluctant to watch this because of the title and synopsis but I am so glad i watched this. It was soooo amazing. It was heartfelt, moving, touch and so much more. I was not expecting that. There was action, sweetness, mystery, plotting, battle of the minds, brotherly love, a little love and more. If I had to sum this up in a few words I would say this series about a queen/mother doing whatever necessary to teach, protect and defend her kids. This differs a bit from other historical dramas about queens fighting for their children. This queens didn’t go around being malicious or trying to hurt other people. I think the title absolutely fits the series “under the queen umbrella” because it was really about her covering/protecting her children from those that were trying to harm them. They series has so many heartfelt moments it was amazing. I can honestly say that I’ve watched very few historical drams that could provoke emotions in me but this one’s absolutely good. I would suggest this for anyone that into historical dramas.

Highly recommend this. Definitely a rewatch.

Okay

It was cute, lively and had some good moments. The wardrobe was a bit more modern/ revealing than traditional historical dramas. It had a comedic vibe as well as some sweet moments. I’m going to be completely honest.the serious was somewhat interesting to watch but I had no idea what was going on and why things were happening. Not sure if there was a plot, it was just stuff. Pleas don’t try to make sense of it. Although I think I figured it out later, there are still parts that had me confused.

I just watched an unhealthy relationship for 24 episodes. What we had here was a female trying to move on from one determined man pursuing to an obvious ingenious guy with her. I’d be lying if I said I liked it. I spent the whole time waiting for them to break up. Sadly it took 24 episodes for that to happen and he made a comment that just further made me dislike it. I feel like my time was wasted. I ultimately sat and watched two people who clearly weren’t a good match and terms of their love and intent. Every episode I was thinking maybe they’ll break up with this one in the store it will pick up from here but it stay the same the whole way through her confronting him, him denying things and her letting it go and then him confronting her and her denying things and him apologizing and then it ended. This went on his way too long. I didn’t see the original of this series, or remake and after this I don’t think I’m interested.

Borderline melancholy.
