The final speech goes a little too long about the points it's already made throughout towards the end, but it's been good.

Certainly worth a watch for the acting and themes. And you can tell the outfits were made by people having fun through the production.

I'm glad she was able to make her decision without anyone arguing for it, it makes it a much more respectful and powerful scene.

Aaaaa, these last 2 episodes are amazing, the slow burn in the first few episodes makes the relationships believable.

I think my only problem right now with this series is that it's hard to recommend to some people, like I feel like some stuff would have more impact if you knew what the hell was happening with shogi.

It's well acted and fun otherwise, for people who don't really mind not being to understand what's happening on the board it's good enough to at least try.

Netflix has been horrible with live series in terms of post speed, I'd rather cope with my mediocre Japanese skills…
Yeah, I wish Netflix was faster, it happened with Bakarhythm's Hot Spot too.

And after work it is hard to produce the energy to translate things in my head at times.

Episode 4 was pretty good, not sure if I prefer it over 3 but both have been nice.

3 hit closer to a personal issue so I probably connected with that harder.

I lowkey want to put this on hold and binge when it's done because Netflix is posting the episodes very late :((
Netflix has been horrible with live series in terms of post speed, I'd rather cope with my mediocre Japanese skills than wait like that.

Really fun slice of life-y show. Bakarhythm never makes me fail to laugh.

Glad I learned Japanese over the years so I didn't have to wait for Netflix's dreadful pacing for dropping episodes for this.

Kiyomi and her group of friends against Takahashi's sensibilities is hilarious.
