I've watched the first episode...... (´ー`) It was alright. It just made me want to erase my memory of the Korean version. Far too predictable and it didn't have any of the charm that the KV had. If you have never watched the KV, then you'll love it.
I've learned to give Chinese dramas 6-10 episodes to intrigue me (unless I have a strong gut feeling I won't like it). It also has Nicky Li (who I love), so I'll stay on for her.
I've watched Weightlifting Fairy 2x , Love O2O 3x and Gangnam Beauty 3x and I do agree with them being comfort dramas for gloomy days. They never fail to make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, especially LO2O and GB. The main couples are so adorable together.
GB was also the first webtoon I have ever read. It was amazing and just a little better than the drama.
I saw that it had finished airing on the 3rd of June, so I thought that ALL the episodes had been subbed. They haven't. I feel so betrayed by my own self. What am I to do with my life now?????? I want to finish it, but I don't understand mandarin (༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ)(༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ)
I think I'm ready now, for that ending. Although it will be painful and give me puffy eyes, I'll still watch it. I have to and you have to if you're reading this and wondering whether it's worth it.
Everything leading up to the last few episodes is amazing. The characters are funny and sweet and caring and such a lovely little family, that I'll make the finale all the more special. Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan are soulmates and Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu really worked hard to show that to the audience. Even though this is hella censored (what with the obvious script changes when character's mouths, voices and words don't match and along with the bts parts that should have been added to make the show 10x better), they did the best with what they were given.
I haven't watched the first 2 dramas (and I probably won't), but Waikiki was an amazing drama. I'm glad that there are others who see Lee Joon Ki as more than the funny guy ( ◜‿◝ )♡
I've only read and seen Guardian. The book is so good. I was highly disappointed by the bizarre changes they made…
I've read Guardian too, but I haven't finished 'cause I don't want to say goodbye ( ・ั﹏・ั)
Anyway, I started reading the book when they began explaining how Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan knew each other. It was so confusing for me in the drama. I also wish they had kept the original story. That one is more entertaining and meaningful.

I hope it wasn't loaded
I'm a sucker for second leads getting the girl in other dramas. Count me in!

It's time to say goodbye.

I just didn't want anyone to walk into this drama blindly. It wasn't a bad drama, it was just boring.
