Do you know anyone who became a father at the age of 11 ??
Me, too.. Thing is the filming still underway and yet some people here have started causing some ruckus over things that they're not even certain about are indeed going to happen or not..
I have never seen Xia Meng's work before, but i hope she does her role justice on Fated Hearts.. it's one of few C-series i've been looking forward to see since last year.
watch Burning River and Burning Ice ;) these are also very good Chinese crime dramas
ow..they're gonna do another season? Well..I better start watching everything on my watchlist..
I havent seen Let the Wind Goes By yet..but am eager to, for i havent had the chance yet to see Jing Qiming's other work apart from his superbly top notch performance in Long Season.. I hope you enjoy it thoroughly..
Thank you again, Lou..some of you recs seem like exactly what am looking for.. ^^
Stfu. We don't care about your bs excuses and how you not higly uncomfortable seeing a minor with a 30 yr old.…
Keep it down, pumpkin..
Full fledged minor or not..there's 12 years between Wang Xingyue & Wu Jinyan.. If we go back in time 5 years ago..he was 17 and she was 29.. According to your twisted logic, Wu Jinyan is old enough to be Wang Xingyue's mother.. Who's the truer creep now !?
Plus, you don't know yet if this series would stay true to the original work or not. So, in the mean time, why don't you simmer down..
And i suggest you to stop calling people names just because they disagree with your pov.. You've been acting severely childish over a freakin' tv series, so if you are indeed an adult like you thought you are, then act like one.
Learn to accept & respect differences in other people & their personal opinions. You can always make a point without being unnecessarily mean.

Got it.. Xia Meng would be on Fated Heart, too, right?
Since this would be Li Yunrui's 3rd time working together with Tian Tian.. i personally think this one, too, wouldn't incorporate some romance plot between the two as many people here suspected.. He knows better than anyone else abt the age gap btwn them & the risk that comes with it..

To think that you're okay with 21 years old Wang Xingyue french-kissing Wu Jinyan who is his 13 years her junior when they fillmed The Double, but when the gender is reversed, your whole world suddenly collapsed shows just how hypocrite you are.
Also, you're lucky most people here is a lot more mature than you, i saw you been dropping the 'f' words left & right to everyone disagreeing with your opinion, and yet they didnt even bother spent their energy in responding to your mean words.
Meaning none of them take you seriously, like you're one of those unfunny jokes no one cares about.
Your way of making a point here by uncontrolably throwing tantrum at a public space is something only kids would do when adults refuse to give them what they want. No wonder you're so adamant about the 'minor' issue, you yourself is still one.
watch Burning River and Burning Ice ;) these are also very good Chinese crime dramas
Love me some multilayered plot these days..thank you for your recommendations..
ahh..Copycat killer with Wu Kangren as the lead, right!? gosh i despised his overbearing character in Shards of Her but he made me laugh like crazy on Breaking & Re-Entering.. Dude also shines in baddie roles.
I'll be sure to check 'em out once am fully done with Double Tap & Day and Night..both are rather underappreciated here, but i've learned over time that when it comes specifically to suspense thriller genre, one should never rely on Mdl ratings..
ohh..really?? i was planning to watch the 2nd season right away but the emotional impact of the first one was intensely personal for me, so i halted it.. That's the thing about sequels..they're the true embodiment of hit or miss..

More people should know about Burning River..everyone lost themselves in their respective roles, i had to remind myself again Zhou You is not a real cop when i saw the trailers of his upcoming movie & series projects with Ni Ni ^^'
I just check the mdl page of Trinity of Shadow, since this is honestly my first time learning abt it, & apparently it has Li Kuan Ting as part of the main cast..gosh i loathed him beyond words on 'A Sun', he fits villanous role really well 😅 Is it compelling enough?
I recently finished The Victims' Game, & it was much better than i'd expected..so am currently searching for another Taiwan series that are worth my time..feel free to recommend me some more kay..
Ba tAI is sooo fine omah LORDDDD... But like the only thing I didn't feel like was realistic, or hard to believe…
There are times when we fall for people whom we never even considered attractive enough before by our premeditated standard, because sometimes one's heart sees what eyes can't.
More like one sided crush.. well there were at least two instances of it, but given the situation they're all in, the slight romance felt rather sad & tragic to say the least.
Isn't the dog at the bridge which appears to have distracted DouDou on his way back home in the final scene, the same one with the pet of Seven's boss (i think his name was Mr. Qing) ?

Couldn't believe my eyes when i saw your comment recommending the very tv series that tops my all time fave C-dramas list, none other than 'Burning River'..
I gasped for real..cause it was the finest one in the crime-thriller genre and yet not many seem to even know its existence at all..
I finally, truly laughed out loud again after a long while because of Too Cool to Kill. Mannn..i haven't cried tears over a comedy movie since..i don't even remember when.
Well made pure comedy film this one is. The acting is spot on, the script is tight & the message is clear. Good thing I wasn't swayed away by the negative reviews here & trusted the ones that actually know how to appreciate comedy genre.
It appears that most people seem to have forgotten what comedy truly means. It is literally supposed to be silly & nonsensical. But this one managed not only bringing the comedy theme to life but also incorporating the perfect amount of thriller & melodrama elements into the mix rather more seamlessly than i'd expected.

Stay safe & healthy wherever you may be..

Who had a baby when they were 11, man? W.H.O ?

I can relate..
A bowl of noodles do be the perfect (& quickest) way to chase the fatigue & the hunger away in one go..

Worth every second spent of my time.
