HMH is serving everything as Zhu Yan. Face, fits, acting, everything. He really looks like he has experienced a lot of things in this life and has held so much power for so long that he does not need to stress to show it. He is also very good at being annoying lmaoo and flirts every chance he gets.
The story finish part I understand is my journey to you. What is the stick to the landing part about?
He did not answer many questions in MJTY and the last 10 minutes did not make sense because there was supposed to be a sequel. But he said he got tired of writing the story or something, so there is no continuation.
Let's laugh now because the trailer shows that we will cry so much later. I have no hope for any kind of happy ending. I don't even know if more than one character will be alive in the end.
This show is another GJM creative excellence. I hope he finishes the story and sticks the landing this time.
Zhu Yan spent thousands of years learning how to shed tears like a human just so he could deceive others with it lmaoooo. Avery annoying narcissist, that is actually masking his pain. He'll soon be putting those tears to real use though.
The girl could protect a whole darn palace by herself and he thinks he could protect her. sigh.
Exactly!!! Why is he always acting like she is helpless, weak and ignorant of the world? He treats her like she os as fragile and vulnerable as his sister.
What is funny now is that Mei Lin looks like she will be in danger because of Yue Qin. And he has been harping on about him being the safer option for her. The one that can protect her. Let's see of he is a man of integrity, that will send her away when she comes to danger because of him.
You guys may think Luomei was acting out of character, but she actually isn't. She is a general, but she is actually…
To buttress my point, Luomei thought that he murdered 100,000 people and burned the whole city to the ground and she still sent him tonics and gifts for TEN years after. She still wanted to marry the man. He told her that people grew up and changed, so he no more followed his mother's teachings or the moral values he held himself to and she still wanted the man. He was so focused on being a good general before that he was not distracted by beauty, but he was now doing crazy things to earn a woman's favor and she still wanted the man. The facts have been there since lol. For the emperor, someone annihilated an entire town for no reason, thereby disobeying military orders from the emperor and the only things that happened were that he lost his army, his running for crown prince and was sent out of the capital. He did not lose his title as prince, was not demoted, was not forced to do labor or anything. He lived very well in his manor in the city he was sent to. He still had all his property, including his mansion in the capital. And when he requested to go back, to escort the Xiyan beauties, his request was granted. His father even still sent him precious things while he was away.
You guys may think Luomei was acting out of character, but she actually isn't. She is a general, but she is actually a bit emotional. I remember saying to myself that for some of the people that cared about Prince Jing, the Qingzhou massacre was not very important to them, compared to Jing's life. And it showed in Luomei and the emperor. Qingzhou was a Dayan city that was captured by their enemies and then MRJH was meant to reclaim it. In this case, the people in that city are somehow seen as part members of the other state that captured it. Wiping them out is not consequential, it is only bad PR if the person that did it is someone prominent like MRJH. Back to the initial issue. When MRJH went to meet Luomei for the red coin seeds, have you forgotten that she said that the massacre is not enough reason for the great Weibei army general to fall. Compared to his life and his position, the Qingzhou people did not match up. The emperor also said the same kind of thing when MRJH returned and met him, but he said it about MRJH as a prince and his son, not as a general. So the fact that Luomei wavered into ignoring the atrocities of the crown prince is in line with her. That is because he finally wore her down and she started to care for him. She had already made her choice after being firmly rejected several times and losing hope. Plus the Crown Prince showed so much devotion and affection. It is not odd that she fell for him. So after making her choice, she was sticking with it. For herself and for her family.
LJX accusing Duke Ying of not being a doting father as he claims is funny. A hypocrite. He knows nothing about willingness and respect of boundaries just to satisfy himself. How many times has he abducted her or brought harm to her?
So I take it that the grandma knew all along about the FL's true identity? (or maybe not necessarily who her father…
In the novel, she did not know. And when she found out, she had a stroke and died a few days after. But not because she was disgusted. They may change it to her knowing, although I doubt that, because they retained her conversation with Mama Zheng. Anyway, she had always been wondering why Gu Minglan's loyal maids all left after she died, especially Mama Zheng who should have stayed back to be with Yining as someone that was in that family and without a mother. So she finally pressed her in the ancestral hall or temple or something and she told her. So she was very sad about Minglan. She felt very guilty because she remembered how she convinced Minglan's family and promised them that she would be cherished in their household, but her son did not do that and she was not able to protect her. And because of that, she encountered such a terrible incident. So she felt really terrible and guilty for Minglan and Yining. But she still loved Yining and willed the entirety of her fortune to her. And called LSY privately when she was dying and told him the truth and made him promise to protect her and the inheritance she left to her.
Who is Ting? I may have missed it, if they said what his relationship was to Duke Ying. He sure did gravitate…
He is currently Duke Ying's only biological child. His mother is a concubine, but she is not alive. The Duke never married an official wife and only has an heir because of the persistent efforts of his mother lol.
I was so so happy to see Ting this episode. I was afraid they did not add his character. I can't believe I thought second master Luo was cute this episode lmaooo. And Lin Hairu is so dense lol. They looked like a family for the first time today. It was nice. Madam Chen is quite despicable omg. Now I can't wait for Thursday and Friday
Ziyu does not know that she has bigger personal issues to worry about. She has forgotten that she is a married woman to a very powerful man. She should be thinking about how to handle her situation because patience has an expiration date when someone wants you. And the emperor is now showing signs of whatever type of affection.
He is also very good at being annoying lmaoo and flirts every chance he gets.
