Some people mention how they gave the male lead in Who rules the world 10 years to live at least in the end and that was actually my biggest pet peeve because in the novel, that stupid storyline did not happen. They both went away to live out their years together, but neither had a short time stamp on their lives. That already upsets me, I hope they don't do the same kind of thing here. It is like a partial happy ending and I'm an all or nothing kind of person.
They wiped out all the people very dear to the leads, minus one, and they did it so brutally. They deserve that happy ending with both being alive. They better not play with me.
HMH's eyes are very captivating. It is like looking at a sea of emotion in an emotion heavy scene, and at ordinary times, they are just the highlight of his face. TJR's eyes are also so moving, especially when he is emotional. Watching both in a frame, especially in the past couple of episodes is just splendid.

Her power is to keep the wilderness and mortal world in balance and to basically give judgement. It is absolutely not for fighting. The Baize order is not for strength or those kinds of powers.
I see people give WX a very hard time here, too much. She is the most knowledgeable of the group, ZY is obviously a different case. If he did not know this much about the wilderness and the world after living for 34,000 years and swearing to protect the wilderness, then that would be... it is not even possible. But WX is a walking library, she has so so much information because she dedicated herself to studying so much since she was physically weak. Not having martial arts or medical skills does not make her useless.

ML is not really the hero. I don't think this is what the story is telling. Her adoptive father is a vile person that was involved in the fall of the Yan family. He is greedy and money hungry. His character was already set before she came into his life, so this is not related.
Plus ML only cares because he thinks she's his sister, while FL cares because she is kind. If Ml did not think she was his sister, he would not be trying to rescue her by marrying her, meanwhile Fl discovered what was being done to her hands and is helping her. Also Ml was planning to ruin the Yue family anyway, now he is even more passionate about it because he thinks that's his sister. So they did not set him up to be her hero. Ruining the Sue family is not something Yunxie is going to be thankful for, she is rather thankful to her father already and will only feel sad to find out everything. Also, do we say or think that Duanwu is thankful to the Ml for destroying the Cui's, somehow helping her on her way? no we don't. They did not make the Cui's evil for Ml to seem like a saviour. They were already rotten and he already plotted against them.
After watching ep 16 ending, I was so happy it was two episodes day lol. Can you imagine how terrible it would have been if we had this two day break after watching ep 16???
Zhu Yan dressed like a king to show he is able to cause the mother of all tragedies. They have this character in all the best fits. He's been serving fashion since the first episode. One tragic story after another. It has to suck real bad to be Zhu Yan. The villains have been winning in the grand scheme of things, and we are now half-way through the story. I hope to see our team turn things around, even though I expect tragic endings for all but two of them.

He was not controlled by anyone. The malicious energy in him takes control of his senses when it acts up. So he has no choice in the matter. Li Lun is actually not as strong as he is. No other demon is. Cheng Huang is the only one comparable because he was much older, and even he is now dead. So he is actually the strongest.
