JX is immature whether as a business woman or in her relationships. She takes more than she gives and everyone around her encouraged that.

And the thing with HT talking about love like a business deal is from his pragmatic and rational mind, that is the way to describe for him. That is what he sees it as. If we do not expect JX to give the answer he gave because it does not match with her personality and background, then we should not expect flowery words from HT because nothing he has experienced and been taught, especially since his parents died, would make him say such things. He does not even watch dramas like XYX. It is like expecting to see the numbers 2-9 in machine language when you know it is only programmed with 1 and 0. And that is the essence of what I said. To him, they are compatible. He did not just rush into this based on hormones, but he thought of what made it possible for them to be able to spend their lives together. That is where compatibility comes in. Love has to make sense to him for him to invest in it. Butterflies will not fly forever, especially not for someone in his position.

In the novel, she had 26%, Chang He had 30 %, HT had 23%, SZZ had the remaining. It is the same in the drama. Then with her agreement with Chang He, he transferred 7% of his shares to her. Making her the majority shareholder. So with that, she could combine with either SZZ and Chang He, or with SZZ alone or CH alone and have majority say in board decisions.
YC only got 1% of the shares when they did a share redistribution after the merger.

Of course, the part about YC is changed in the drama to be Lili.

That is why I am against the one month time frame as opposed to three months. They were going as fast as a speed train without much thought. This conflict was actually bound to happen because they did not lay a proper foundation before this type of crisis.

She really needs to reflect on herself and her definition of love. Because if she is not falling apart after both break ups, that means she did not love those men and she is wrong in expecting that from them both.
She needs a lot of introspection, but everyone is pampering her. At least in the novel, HT challenged her views and actions in their relationship. He called her out even when they had broken up.

I know I probably sound like a JX hater sometimes, but I'm not. I just really do not agree with her. She looks at the world through rose coloured glasses and is quite childish. She is also selfish. If I were HT that she asked if he loved her after one month of dating, I'd remind her about how long we had been together. It's ONE MONTH. Why do you expect him to be waxing poetic after one month? The production did a terrible thing here though. They should have made it 3 months like in the novel. It makes everything make more sense. But instead it's one month dating and 9 months broken up (someone calculated), as opposed to 6 months.

And why do people want a flowery speech or say that his view on love is wrong while knowing what type of person he is? I would absolutely hate it and start distrusting you if you went against your nature and honesty just to placate me. You're telling me what I want to hear in order to keep me. That is real manipulation. If saying the truth will hurt me more, tell me you'll tell me later. If I insist, tell me gently. Just don't take me for a fool or as a child.

We should be able to match up things people say with their personalities and life experiences as much as we know and can. It means understanding them. It means walking in their shoes. So that we can be our authentic selves and still work well together.

He is not. Only DongYang medical

It is just like how XingChen was operating under DongYang Medical. Hanhai Xingchen is like a branch of DongYang Medical and then there are other branches that specialise in other things. Just like DongYang Technology and Dongyang Medical are branches, separate companies, under Dong Yang group. And grandpa is DongYang group Chairman. So following that hierarchy, the individual companies will be run by their presidents, but they have to make reports to HT, then to grandpa. They will not interfere in their daily operations.

These are the problems that arise when you change the characters personalities and their interactions, but still maintain the plot story. It is easier to understand JX's insecurity and fear of HT from the novel perspective because he was colder, even though he was polite and well-mannered. He was aggressive and more secretive. Like he never allowed her hear his business conversations and it was obvious. He'd stop mid way, change course or write out his instructions to Tang Song once she appeared. They addressed these issues later and the change was immediate.
And from the novel perspective, you could see how what JX did was wrong, because she did it on purpose, knowing he was find of her and would let her go. She wanted to anger him. But her response to him knowing what she did and letting her go further highlights why she can't stay with him personally, because he is too scary and calculative and she can easily fall in his traps.

And it is a problem she had in her relationship with YC. He said he kept on conceding to her, but starting her business and how she was after was what broke the camels back for him.

Yes. The conversation in the hospital and her subsequent performance as VP showed good character growth.
