Of course they have had the discussion many times. I mean the fl said that for the past five years the man had been emotionally blackmailing her to stay, and that woman has been there for the 5 years I believe. So they definitely have had this discussion a lot of times. What I was saying was that from the dialogues and just watching the man, it did not seem like the assistant director needed to put the idea into his head. It looks like he already had those thoughts by himself too. But they plot and plan together.

I agree about the point of some teachers being laidback. I also agree that teachers should give their best even with the limitations they have and if they do so, the students will be all the better for it.
My point was academies are still going to be a necessity even if all the teachers gave their all, because they just can't do it all with the points I mentioned. And it is even worse in the SK educational system because they are just ridiculously and unnecessary stressful.

Students would still need to go to academies because school teachers still have limitations. They do not have as much time or flexibility as academy instructors because they have a national curriculum to follow, given school days and times. It is already hard enough to cover all the material you are meant to cover, and for so many students. They also have their lives to live, and to grade the students and prepare lesson materials outside school hours.
Academy instructors specialize in giving them codes on how to answer test questions and improve their grades and all that. They do not bear the same weight of responsibility as school teachers, although they are much more competitive.

Maybe, but I don't really think so. The way he speaks and acts, I think he had those thoughts himself. He speaks about the power Hye Jin has like someone that formed those thoughts himself, like he has been contemplating it. If the woman was the one that started it, I think Hye Jin would have already been kicked out. She'd have more control of the situation.

Yes. She was much worse there than in this show. She abandoned them for money and material desires. Then came back when her daughter was grown and tried to take her away and her ex-husband too to the USA when the man had been remarried for decades and with another kid. It was crazy.

I pitied the actress so much. She cried in like 48 episodes, if not all 50. When the amnesia plot entered its 3rd episode, I dropped it until it ended in like ep 47 lol. I watched that whole period on twitter, which was barely watching it lol.

The person that put together that new schedule is an enemy of the people. What is this even supposed to mean?

I am not even surprised at the assistant director of DC academy. The head director has been doing a shit job in properly communicating and properly managing the clashes between people. He can't even look the woman or the fl in the eye like half the time because he's always saying something wrong. The Assistant director has to have felt very threatened for years and even more so now, so to her, she has to protect her position.

I always thought Mr Pyo tried to be a good teacher genuinely, but he was too proud and did not know how to strike a proper balance between his ideals and relating well with others in a way that is best for everyone involved. He could not listen well or even express himself well. He also has issues regulating strong emotions. So I hope they write his character development well till the end.

Exactly! XFF has been through hell and all because of a man. If she never even wants to be within one meter of any male on the planet, that would be very understandable. Imagine that although your dad protested, you begged him to allow you to marry someone you loved, and then your brother out of love for you, supported you. You gave up everything you had, even the most precious keepsake of your mother's. The Qin that was your most precious hobby, something that was a lifeline for noble women that could not work in those days. And then the man not only cheats, but causes your father and brother to die, joins his family in framing you, to ruin your reputation, without having the decency to kill you before burying you, so he buries you alive (this is still the worst thing he did to her to me after everything he did. Made him redemption-less) and also ruins your father's reputation as well.
Women in those days had to rely on men to live properly, especially when they got married. So to live as a married woman, you have to be sure to marry the right man. A good man. Then pray that if he marries other women, they would not be demons in sheep's clothing. You also have to protect yourself against outside women not married into the family yet, but that would scheme to enter your house.
So the romance in this show cannot be anything but slowburn. She has to decide to allow her feelings happen and be able to trust another male again.

In many ways, I actually like Dora being JY. The stress she is going through as JY is much less than what she went through as Dora. With that mother of hers, who needs enemies? She should please move out of that house. Then PS's family won't be able to reach her as much. She should also make them pay for breaking the housing contract.

For number 3, it feels like you have not watched this show to ep 28 at all. Like you're still in ep 5. These people have been interacting so well and have slowly gone from "strangers" to "friends" to almost lovers in wonderfully built stages. We are even lucky that XFF/JL did not go through denial stage and fight her feelings after everything she has been through. They have been through so many situations together at this point I can't believe you can't see the romance. Does romance only have to be physical intimacy to qualify as romance? You really can't see anything at all? HOW???////

That is another possibility. That works too because I really don't want him to pine over A'li forever. He should move on quickly like Xue Li moved on from him.
