Perhaps "Mom" has something on her as well. In a prior episode, she talked about how she wanted to be an actress,…
The "mother" is the one I do not even want character development for at all. Something has to happen with her character, like jail. I do not think she is going to soften up or any such thing. She seems incapable of being good. See how willing she is to exploit children to fill her pockets (DH and Ina).
He is more interested in acting like a lovesick teen instead of caring for his lonely child.
That has started to bother me. His relationship with Ina is where I wanted his character development to be heavy. Him learning to live properly with the weakness in his superpower. So he is able to look around at the things that really matter, himself and his daughter, his family, then the love interest that is DH.
Now it looks like he has just moved dependencies. He has hope because with DH, he thinks there is a way to be the hero. He has renewed hope there and Ina is still not his focus. In a way, he is actually quite self centred, but that is also partly a build up from living with his power and living in its limitations for almost 3 decades.
"literally" means that he's the one that crashed the car, and we all know he wasn't. You can't blame him for the accident if she really did it on purpose either because although he became a bad husband, he still showed them affection and he did not tell her to do it. She made the choice (if she really did it) because of how she felt.
I need Gwiju to snap out of whatever it is that is going on in his head and be a proper dad. He should not think about depending on DH to be the bridge to his daughter. He should make proper moves. She'll be very reluctant at first, but she'll slowly open up.
I agree with everything you said, esp. "They could have let her be a bad guy that goes through character development…
Although they didn't go the route we would have preferred, I think the fact that they are her debt collectors is new. It is a different approach to a normal revenge thing or a thing for justice plus self-interest like Legend of the Blue Sea where they scammed dirty rich people. So that is a good consolation. And come to think of it, it also fits with the title of the show. The leads are each from atypical "families".
I think the marriage certificate is a lie because of her entire body language when she was handing it over to him. Plus the fact that he was not the one to stamp his seal on it, but her. Why come from the future to give your past a marriage certificate you did not fill out? What is the point? Also, the biggest reason is that it does not make sense. Why would future Gwijoo give past DH the marriage certificate when he could just give it to future DH? If he really wanted to send a message to the past, he could have handed it to his past self, not DH. Like the whole thing does not make sense.
Her parents must have borrowed enough money to build the blue house twice, because she has been working for this darn woman for over a decade and still hasn't been let go. But it feels like she entered another scam with that woman. Like she's paying off accumulated interest plus the amount it cost to raise her. Also, it seems like it is now past the specific amount and just a slave contract.
Gwiju and Ina actually have the same style, hair and clothes lol. Partly because of their emotional states, then for Ina, I believe everything is to help her be as invisible as possible. Her phone case and school bag are black and very ordinary. The shoes she used to wear were plain canvas shoes. But like her dad, they are slowly adding colour to their lives, changed shoes and clothes. I wonder if both of them will get their hair done later. They obviously need haircuts.

Knowing Da Hee's backstory and seeing her hesitation makes it feel a bit easier to digest. But I still don't think her interactions with Gwiju or Ina are cute because it is not shown that she is showing any kind of genuine concern. And that's all I need, instead of turning her into a victim in her backstory lol. They could have let her be a bad guy that goes through character development because she is convinced to live another way. Come to think of it, they may have made it easier to digest because of Ina, as she's a child.
In the ending of ep 4, it does not look like Gwiju has fallen for her. You can see that in the things that happened before she came into the room, the whole episode really, and especially how his other hand was comfortably in his pocket. It feels more like let the games begin kind of thing. So Da Hee looks like she's going to start making mistakes because she's now desperate (what her "mother" said to her. This is her chance to end this con/debt life), like the stupid lie she told about the marriage registration. And she is also reasonably freaked out by the family lol. On the other hand, Gwiju is very curious about her because of her relationship with his powers and is also somewhat willing because of how she is with Ina. So even though he's suspicious of her, at this point, he needs to explore the link with her to help himself.
So the question is, who is going to win in this fight?
Now when I think about how nice it'd be for Ina to get some sort of makeover and feel more relaxed and free, I…
Ina's situation is actually interesting because she cannot physically see without her glasses, but she reads minds with those same eyes, without the glasses.
Now when I think about how nice it'd be for Ina to get some sort of makeover and feel more relaxed and free, I remember that her power is a blessing and a curse. Many people will want to approach her, which means reading too many people's minds, and that's very stressful.
I think that proves my point that our female lead is morally grey. She's not evil incarnate.I think the fundamental…
So should real definitions not apply to fictional characters? Then why are we using the words for fictional characters since they are not real? We should then bring up our own definitions for fiction to separate from the real world.
