I am enjoying this drama and really getting a kick out of Yi Seo. :) One of the things I'm grateful for is the inclusion of Kim To Ni. I live in a place with a great deal of diversity, and it's one of the things I miss in Asian dramas so I'm pleased to see Itaewon Class mix things up a little. And bravo for including a transgender character. I love the sweet chef, but miss her gray hair.
I'm looking forward to how things shake out in the end of this drama and seeing who lands on top. I'm rooting for the Little Brother to do well and curious to see if Yi Seo ends up running for President of the country. ;)
When I first started watching Kdramas I almost quit because I watched some of the older ones and the women were for the most part helpless doormats that were made to suffer. Of course their long suffering and kind attitudes won over the cold male leads and completely changed them. uh-huh. Fortunately, they are starting to write more well-rounded FLs. The stony faced or abusive MLs aren't as prevalent either. One can only hope we are headed in the right direction.
Taew never smiled at Jom like she did everyone else and treated him like he was something stuck to the bottom of her shoe most of the time. I couldn't invest in this romance.
The son's story was much the same. He flaunts his other gf in front of Kelly and lets her know he's having trouble choosing between the two. Let me make that real easy for you buddy. When a guy is practically doing a coin toss to choose, that's not a sign of love and devotion. Girl get out of there!
