Trigger warnings for some folks-suicide, animal abuse, child beaten. My tags never showed up.

I can't think of any place less I'd rather be than feeling like someone's second choice or that I'm not worthy to be picked without the back and forth-both Mother's and Son's stories. I kept yelling at Jom, "run, boy, run!" and Kelly the same thing, "run, girl, run!"

Taew never smiled at Jom like she did everyone else and treated him like he was something stuck to the bottom of her shoe most of the time. I couldn't invest in this romance.

The son's story was much the same. He flaunts his other gf in front of Kelly and lets her know he's having trouble choosing between the two. Let me make that real easy for you buddy. When a guy is practically doing a coin toss to choose, that's not a sign of love and devotion. Girl get out of there!

I loved Mr Sunshine and Prison Playbook. I really liked When The Camellia Blooms, Live, and My Country. Netflix is the top place I watch dramas so I’m happy they keep adding more Kdramas. It’s a Cdrama but Eternal Love was my first Asian Drama and I watched it on Netflix. It’s what started this lovely addiction. :) Netflix is also where I’ve had access to Taiwanese and Thai dramas. Netflix may not be perfect but I’m thankful for it.

Timey-Wimey stuff makes my head hurt, but it was entertaining.

I didn't know either until I searched up the drama to look at the writers! It's actually quite interesting and…
I’ve told my family from years ago, jokingly, I can get into heaven because I gave birth to a son. I’ve done all I need to do in this life. ;)

I was drawn to this because of Chris Wu. : ) This is about as far as I can go in horror. It wasn’t too scary and the story got stronger as it went along. I will be on board for S2.

I knew only a little about ghost brides so I appreciate the research you did for us. At the same time it’s disturbing to be reminded that women in a lot of cultures weren’t valued for much more than being servants and conduits of male heirs. :’(

That's what I meant I was team Jiu Wang/Alan Yu all the way. I loved him and his buddy. The ML was too abusive for me. And I loved Crystal as well, she was convincing and entertaining as a man/woman. :) I watched it on YouTube. Not sure if it's still up on there. One of these days I'll go back to it if I can find it.

Title Happy Hour
I had a different experience than the reviewer. The first two hours were mainly about a communication self-help class and the conversations afterward. I would rather have spent that time meditating with my face to a wall. The next hour and a half had some moments of interest. The last two+ hours almost made me lose the will to live. This should have been titled "Miserable Lives of Quiet Desperation". Maybe I wasn't in the mood for it, but this was not my cup of tea. It didn't help that the lighting and sound were awful. I'll stop. If you loved this movie, I apologize for my rant. Please skip over it.

I struggled with the first third of this movie but it slowly pulled me in. The last two thirds were sweet and fun and I stopped wanting to throttle Shi Fen. :)
On The Great Battle Feb 2, 2020
It felt like the battle of Helm's Deep without the elves. I was impressed with the resiliency and resourcefulness as well as the heart and courage of the people defending their home against forces far greater in number and with superior weaponry.

It was okay. Some of the surgeries she had would leave scars but that’s an element of realism this movie was not going to touch. The ML showed his colors early on and he failed to win me over even though he did come to appreciate her. The FL could have used better character growth as well

I loved this quirky romantic movie. Every time I see Son Ye Jin in a movie or drama I like her more. :) I just watched Lee Min Ki in Monster and Because This is My First Life and I knew that he could play menacing and quiet very well, but I wondered if he had any drama depth. I wonder no more. It was good to see him smile and acting relaxed. There were a couple of scary moments for a scaredy-cat like me but mostly it was romantic and funny. I would not have any problems recommending Spellbound. :)

8th Prince did a good job in this movie. I like his performance better than I did the movie overall.

It was okay. I rated it higher than I would normally have only because of my love for Gong Yoo. D@mn! He's fine.
On You Are My Sunshine Feb 1, 2020
I had a hard time connecting with the characters emotionally on this film. Some of the story elements felt over the top and in a movie about HIV it could have used more realism.

I liked the twisting, turning path this movie took the viewer on. Probably my favorite LBH role and that includes Mr Sunshine. He seemed more natural here.
