Yay! Some love for Taiwanese dramas! Of the ones you wrote about I've only seen Ghost Bride. Some of my favorites are Someone Like You, A Good Wife, Autumn's Concerto, Iron Ladies, MARS, The World Between Us, and the movie Secret. Sometimes the production values are less than Kdramas and the wardrobes and makeup can be iffy, but I love their character development. I will also watch anything with sweet Jasper Liu in it no matter how mediocre. :) Thank you for this article! :)

The version I watched had her ending up with Rain and I despised that ending. The whole story seemed to lead to…
I watched it on Netflix and it's the 24 episode version. You can tell it's pretty badly butchered.

I have liked Jung Hae In since Goblin. This has been a deeper performance from him but I am looking forward to his smile. :) I’m enjoying Chae Soo Bin’s performance and character. The only weak link for me is Lee Ha Na.

I’m along for the ride wherever they are taking us.

Thanks for a very nice article! ♡

I'm getting ready to start Rugal. The ones I'm most looking forward to are Eternal Monarch (WDH ❤), It's Okay.. and Twogether (Jasper!!). I will check out the others when the mood or insomnia hits me. :) Thanks for putting this together! Your efforts are always appreciated. :)

You wrote about my two favorites-Eternal Love and Goblin! I’m watching Eternal Love of Dream right now to get my peach blossom fix. Thanks for another great article! And you are right-Mark Chao-yum! And it’s no secret Gong Yoo is my #1 after watching Goblin. Both dramas have so many complex relationships and storylines. Love them!

Was this drama great? Not particularly, but it is the first drama in awhile that I haven't watched with my finger poised above the FF button. It had plenty of flaws, but I rode the ride for what it was. It was fun entertainment. :)

Just what I needed today. Badass Goryeo Gong Yoo pic!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I promise to go back and read the rest of the article after I’ve revived myself. :) (And I felt the same way after going to four stores to find basic necessities-perfect!)

yeah the main couple was kinda cute i hope they get another project together in the future
I thought the poor almost brother was cute. He hasn't done much. I'm hoping he gets more work in the future.
yoonthethicc Mar 15, 2020
I scored it even lower than you. There was simply not enough time to develop the characters or story. Side couples weren't interesting. The main couple had potential but their story was rushed beyond belief. You have the right idea with a movie focusing on the main couple.

I have mixed feelings about this drama. I liked that the FL broke loose and started to do things that were important to her. I had to check my calendar to make sure it wasn’t 1950 instead of 2020 when the students and professors treated a 38 year old woman like she had one foot in the grave and was unworthy of a higher education, certain jobs and basic human dignity.

The ML was a wrist grabber and berater which was a turn-off. He was great when he acted like a grown-up. And as much as I applauded the FL she did seem to regress as the drama went on. And for me it was more of a noona romance. IRL she is several years older than the ML but comes across as much older and for me had one expression frozen on her face. Sadly, she was the weak link in regards to acting ability for me with a strong cast otherwise. I liked the overall story arc but had some reservations with some story elements and acting ability of the FL.

I loved Eternal Love and read the novel. Because the drama is in more of a chronological order I enjoyed it better.

I haven't found the Princess Agents book with an English translation. I would love to read it in order to have a proper ending for the drama and to fill in some gaps. Even with the drama's flaws, I loved most of it.

Thank you for sharing the Chinese novel to drama adaptions in this article. I really enjoyed it. :)

Thank you!

Bad on me for not reading the directions. Should have learned that by the 4th grade. I would add Han Seo Jin if I hadn't voted for someone else already.

I’m 5 episodes in and she enrages me every time she’s on the screen. I’m hoping for some serious character…
I really try to only watch on legal sites. So for now, I'll wait on VIKI. I was just thankful VIKI picked it up. I was super excited when I saw they had. I'd checked many times on the site and even requested it from Netflix.

Love his pretty pouty lips :) Viki said four more days before the next 8 episodes are up but they usually take longer. The clock feels like it’s ticking in slow-mo.
