So on average, the comments so far, are not a fan of the whole non-blood-related sibling trope.... I, on the other hand, LOVE THIS TROPE !!! XD XD XD It's forbidden, it's exciting, it's secretive, and somehow the couple's feelings towards each other always feel 10 times more intense than an average relationship..... probably because they have to not only go against the general societal perception but they have to also convince themselves that it's okay to be in love and become intimate with this person.
And to make this sound even more controversial, I'm even okay with actual incest relationships (as long as they don't procreate and put that burden on another human being which would be their children). I wouldn't necessarily watch such a show unless it's good. We're all honestly weird in our own ways and in our own relationships. What happens between two people is up to them and there's no reason to judge them. You only feel disgusted because you are subconsciously imagining yourself in that position and it comes out as hate and judgement. You're not in that position so it's fine. Let them be. Let go of that idea and that movie and that drama and that anime and that book and that porno!
I loved Ashes of Love. But honestly, the length of this series made me drop half a point. Not the story, not the characters, not even the boredom which I never felt. It was JUST too long
