I watched the last episode minutes ago and I am not sure about my feelings. I just know that I am feeling way too indifferent right now. When I say I watched the last episode, it doesn't mean I watched the whole series. I skipped several episodes past the third one because the storyline sounded too flat already. It's rare when no character at all touches me, but that's exactly what happened this time. I liked watching Sun's relationship develop a bit but I think the character was victim of the script, the development was rather uneventful and a tad childish... it lacked depth. The leading couple Pete and Kao lacked chemistry as well. To me, they acted rather like two friends (not even best friends). There was no magic in their interractions, no suspense. Non was like an unsightly thorn in the decor, he was just there to wreck havoc, just some drama instigator, and that sounded so cliché, so déjà-vu. The BL side apart, I liked Pete's father and Kao's mother, they were sweet and their acting was very communicative. The adult characters were supposed to be kind and loving, and it showed through the actors. I loved that about the show, and I am afraid it's the only thing I liked. I didn't watch the prequel so I was discovering the cast for the first time, but nothing ignited my interest. I guess I did well by skipping many episodes. In the end, I didn't feel I missed anything. So my rating for this show will be as much challenged as my opinion is.
To love this movie, you must see further than the screen and further than the story-line. The first time I watched it, six years ago, I was blown away literally. I was amazed by the challenging scenario; I wanted to rewatch it right away and see it from the screenwriter's perspective. If you expect just to sit down and watch some banality be thrown at you on a silver platter, you will probably regret it and feel that you're wasting your time. But if, for once, you keep in mind that cinematography is not only a means of entertainment but also a field of art and expertise, your brain cells would work a tad more than usual but you will see the magic where at first it seems there isn't any. This is one of the rarest movies that I rated more than the general rating (8.5/10) but I think it deserves it. In six years, I haven't found a movie as heart-wrenching as this one.
I know many will hate me but this is the worst BL series IN MY OPINION that I watched! If it weren't for WINTEAM…
Even if I love this series I have to agree with you as I only love it because of the plot, it's not everywhere that we get a BL drama that evokes reincarnation in an oh-so-plain and assumed way, other than that, if it weren't about that exact topic that I am very interested in, I think I would have dropped it because of the sluggishness of the storyline and the poor acting of some of the actors. Thankfully Earth and Nine are there to upgrade the level, their chemistry is beautiful to see despite the ambient monotony of the present-time scenes.
Guys you're so right. Actually Parm's crying in each episode doesn't make sense, because waching your lover commiting…
@Merlina Honestly, I think your input is the one that is out of place. Social media has "social" in it for a reason, and the society is colorful and diverse. All opinions matter (even yours!). Just like in movies, the antagonists are as important as the protagonists, if not more... they fuel the storyline, just as much as antagonistic/conflicting comments here fuel the debate and enrich our understanding of the series. I personally love this series (despite my boredom through the 14th episode) but I enjoy reading the comments of the persons who don't like it as they push me to see the series from another perspective without altering my own judgment on the show. Some other times, I am on the antagonistic side when I don't like a show and I read the comments of the persons who love the show to see what they find likable about it. If a single person's opinion can be influenced or change radically, why wouldn't you expect the two ends of the thread to meet in a social, animated and civilized discussion that both parties enjoy? So, if people are brave enough to "show their lack of knowledge in public", I personally think that we all should applaud them, their comments are still more agreeable to read than know-it-alls'. After all, we may differ in our judgments, but here we all have a common passion that draws us together from a series to another. That's the magic of the 7th art!
I know a lot of people won't like the humor of this, but even thought I found it silly I laugh so hard with Zon…
Me too. The scene in the locker-room killed me. I can watch Zon for hours without getting tired. He's hilarious. Tommy is talented for sure, he's fit for the role!
I don’t care if anyone hates/ dislike this series but I love it! I think the cast are great and funny. But can…
They aren't dating from what I understood, though in the first episode Fighter told Tutor that he'd date her, so I am not sure at 100%. Hwahwa is interested in Fighter (yet she admits she doesn't know if she likes him or not) and Fighter is just hanging around with girls to hide his secret. The question is: Will their relationship get stronger in time or will Tutor get Fighter out of his shell earlier? I wonder! :)
I kinda agree with you. i watched sotus recently and hates the sequel, oh my gosh it was so annoying, i hated…
I loved Autumn's Concerto too (The proof, I haven't forgotten about it in ten years). The little kid played by Xiao Xiao Bin was my favorite. So cute *-* As for the third wheel, I agree with you. It can be an original plot. Originality is a magic spice in cinematography, I wish movies and series producers make more often use of it!
really, guys? you don't want to see their future? there is one book left (by mame). four years later (at this…
That's great, thanks for the wonderful news. I can't wait to read it and discover all the little details that weren't in the series. I will look for the author's Twitter. Thanks so much *-*

I understood that and I meant that it would be hard for me to watch them in other shows without seeing them as Tharn and Type if they play in the same show. But, of course, I long to see Mew in another BL series of course. Gulf as well lol

I saw that it was adapted from a novel but have no idea what it's talking about. I asked around for a link to the novel or a way to buy it but nobody helped. So now, I am just speculating and dreading a cataclysmic sequel lol
I kinda agree with you. i watched sotus recently and hates the sequel, oh my gosh it was so annoying, i hated…
@Frenchii You have a great idea here that reminds me of the Taiwanese drama Autumn's Concerto from a decade ago, but, to be honest, it also gives me the chills, especially the third wheel part lol I had to deal with Lhong, San and Tar in season 1, my tolerance for shameless thieves is running thin... lmao
I kinda agree with you. i watched sotus recently and hates the sequel, oh my gosh it was so annoying, i hated…
@unabashed I am glad to see another person who's not mesmerized by Sotus and Sotus S, because, for me, it was one of the worst series ever. The storyline and acting were exaggerated to the point of becoming ridiculous. As for TharnType, I agree with you. The last episode was somehow the cherry on the cake, a very satisfying ending. So now the last thing I want to see is a sequel that would destroy that harmony. Roller-coasters aren't my cup of tea!!! However, seeing Mew and Gulf together in another series would be hard for me because they will always be Tharn and Type for me (I first saw Mew in What The Duck but I also detested that series. In fact I watched it only for his character Pree and his relationship with Rambo, but the whole thing wasn't memorable. So I am glad he got a main role here). And that's exactly the problem I have with Until We Meet Again because Fluke who plays Pharm is still Bank from My Bromance for me lol
Now that I've purchased the last episode, and watched it, I have a "broader viewpoint" (Tharn's words lol) about the storyline. I loved the 13th, special episode, even more than the previous episodes, but now I don't want a season 2 anymore. I am too scared of a catastrophic sequel. The sequels in BL Thai series are often evolving around cheating, betrayal, breakups, love triangles, parental problems... (so tiring)... I don't want any of those in a season 2. In fact, while rewatching the episode 13th, I tried to imagine an acceptable season 2 plot and the only one I've found--considering the way the series ended--would be to see Type and Tharn after they graduate. I don't want a sequel like in Sotus S and TWM: The Next Chapter where the characters experience finding a job and starting work... (too boring)... I don't want to see Type regretting his choice and fleeing with a woman either, that would piss me off, to be honest... I watched so many BLs and read so many BL novels/mangas, that the only thing I still look forward to in a Thai BL series (because I've seen it elsewhere, and seen something like it in a Thai movie) is to see the main couple of a BL drama get married, settle in a nice neighborhood and start a family. It sounds boring and tiring, but a gay couple isn't a straight couple (I know what I am talking about for being gay myself) and what sounds easy for others, is always a feat for gays unfortunately. So, I was telling myself that if the crew plans something of that sort for season 2 it would be great (no need for farfetched twists, TWM TNC has them all already)... something without melodrama and tragedies would be still fine too. I don't want unnecessary headaches after the funniest episode I watched in a Thai BL series.
Well you wouldnt like it anyways lol petes not in this one
Thanks for your recommendations but I watched all of them already. I watched Reminders for the sake of Phun and Noh (From Love Sick 1 & 2); I missed them after all these years. I was a big fan of Bad Romance and Together With Me at first, but TWM: The Next Chapter disappointed me to some extent. As for Sotus and Sotus S, I detested both, not my cup for tea I guess but I understand that others love them. With Thai series it's 50/50, I may love or hate a series, depending on the storyline and the acting. Currently I am watching Until We Meet Again and Why R U?...... and I like both :)
RIGHT?? HIS ROOTS MAN, IT'S KILLING MY PERFECTIONIST HEART (Also Flukes' hair in the water scene. like dude, it's…
Yeah. Moreover, Fluke's hair looked a bit longer than before and after the trip. It doesn't matter in one way, but in another it lowers the realism of the scenes. Just like Dean's tattoo, it looked so fake, I could see the mesh fabric of the cloth like in those tattoo sleeves and shirts that are in the market. They could have at least used a real tattoo capture on real skin lol
I think I love this 13th episode even more than the other ones. I liked the humor (I hesitate, which is funnier. Between Pharm eating the egg or Win wanting to eat Team lol), the intimate scenes were also just right and funny... and, of course, Intouch and Korn (Earth and Nine) did a great acting work once again; the simplicity in their acting and the scenes is very touching!
I've just got one problem with Win's hair. In episodes 12 and 13, from the growth in his hair, it was obvious that the trip sequences were filmed after the rest of the series... it frustrated me. I am a perfectionist and it was all I saw through two whole episodes. It would have been better if they bleached his roots LMAO
Apparently I like everything in this new series except its title, I consider it very banal as it isn't memorable. This put aside, the second episode is even better than the first. For once (yeah, I am an eternal "thirdwheel supporter" lol) I am totally smitten with the leading couple. FighterxTutor have an incredible chemistry. I feel that Saint in more at ease in this series than in LBC. I don't know if it's true or if I am only imagining things, but it's really beautiful to see. Love it :)
It's been several years but I still remember this show. I watched all the episodes/stories but my favorite is beyond doubt Renai Shindan Unmei no Kodou; I wished it were better developped. A full-length drama focused on the latter would have been amazing. I liked every side of it (quoting, intrigue, cast, movie set...), except maybe the acting that I didn't find convincing by then. The acting was even more awful in the other stories. As a matter of fact, the acting can't save a terrible script, and the scripts of the three other stories were.... hopeless.
This is the very first BL I ever watched. I watched it when it first aired and I can still feel the disappointment, along with the confusion. The acting was robotical and cold, the storyline purposeless and far-fetched... the ending? No comment about the ending. The adjective to qualify the ending is not invented yet!
Forbidden Love is one of the worst BL movies that I have ever watched, yet I don't detest it. I don't recommend you to watch it, it's a disastrous show and a total waste of brain energy, but it doesn't harm to give it some time. The story is ridiculous but that's one of the cutest sides of the movie. The other is Masashi Mikami *-*
